Interest rates are at an all time low. Leveraging $ is insanely cheap... 1.8% is unheard of. Not sure what it is like in AU.
We are in for some interesting times right now. Not much makes sense, stock market booming, etc. Young ppl like us better strap in and hedge. Governments "printing" $ out of thin air and dishing it out like crazy. Sorry to rant LOL.

I’ve been able to start my LEGO hobby by obtaining credit card sign-up bonuses and finding ways to “manufacture spend” (buying gift cards to flip) and netting the cashback/points from credit cards. Made $9k last year from my side hustle all while working full time 40/hrs a week.
Your method is fantastic though, too! I’ll have to look into possible LEGO reselling as you mentioned. Happy 2021!

Awesome.....I collect Lego, too, brother, and I am usually pretty broke, so it's nice to hear someone plugging ways to fund a large Lego collection, which I also have. I will say.....my first X-Wing Fighter was THE first one......in 1999. So, yeah, I have had a long time to build my collection, but AWESOME!! Keep building, man!!

Amazing story. Very encouraging to hear in detail how you did it. People should live and learn from your methods, smart and sensible. And hard work! My introduction to bricksie came because I can see Lego spending increasing and wondered how other people do it, so I was curious to his methods. Great content.

Tip for when your holding on to lego sets to sell them when they are worth more: keep up to date on how much they are worth and when the worth plateaus sell them rather than keeping them for too long

Bricksie has showed us that he worked hard for his legos which is extremely respectable. I work hard to babysit and every now and then I get a LEGO set for my brother and I. So you can accomplish anything if you work hard for it 😋.

Great video! Brave to put yourself out there. I started making Lego videos a year ago. I've found that if you buy used locally and build, video and resell there is almost no cost. It's almost like a library check out system but you maintain your virtual TH-cam collection.
