    Great video! The lesson here is, Performance Max is the most powerful campaign of all once you have mastered the science on how to organize its account structure.

    Hi Aaron, thanks for all your content its really appreciated.
    I run an online mens grooming store and I have been running Pmax ever since it auto switched from Smart Shopping with all my products in one asset group. I recently decided to start changing this by splitting out different brands into there own asset groups all under the same Pmax campaign. Do you think I should scrap this method and use the method you mentioned in this video?
    I can split out Beard Care, Shaving & Hair Styling Products in there own separate Pmax campaigns and work that way, if so would I be best starting all new pMax campaigns and leave the current one running for now or try to use the current campaign somehow?
    Thanks!

    This is great, thank you ! Question, you said in your previous videos not to run performance Max and search ads for the same product at the same time is this the case ? So this max would be my only ad type ?

    Hello, and thanks for your videos! Is renarketing dynamic in display, youtube and gmail (using your catalogue) in case of ecommerces? I guess remarketing via display campaigns is totally useless if pmax are in place.

    Another great content as always Aaron! Thanks and keep it coming mate!
    I have one question, whenever you can. How many ad groups per Pmax campaign do you suggest? Also, as they can all use videos as an asset, what do you recommend about sharing or differentiating the video assets in Pmax, Display, and TH-cam ads for the same account structure?

    Would you suggest to also run a seperate retargeting campaign along side the PMAX?

    Thanks for the validation on structure, this has been my approach but I’m conflicted with how I should properly structure. We offer premium phone accessories and my question is should the structure be Manufacturer > phone model > product or product > phone model?

    Loving the content.
    One thing I want to ask is. Should we run, DSA, Standard Shopping, Dynamic Restarting, Brand Campaign Etc alongside PMAX?
    And should we add negative brand keywords in PMAX by asking rep to add Google app to add list? And run a manual CPC for brand kws?

    • @dropitaly
      @dropitaly 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ah that's a good question. I guess "experts" will tell you to test and test.... but the point is that PMAX steals all traffic leaving DSA, Shopping and Brand campaigns just a bunch of impressions. To me, PMAX is the biggest SCAM of Google in the last few years. You can optmise your Pmax as you want, but it will always attract bad traffic. And even if you add your Brand queries as "brand exclusion", the Pmax will still attract your brand queries (of course this depends on your brand name structure).

    A question about the PMax structure. Is there anything wrong with setting upt the structure for the business and different asset groups for different general products, like shoes, pants, shirts, etc.? I guess it would depend on how the pages are set up on the website?

    However Google advises adding audience signals which probably means that Google needs extra help from you to where to focus its attention. Do you recommend using this structure you've just described + adding some audience signals?

    Hello, thanks for the video. I present my question: in a store with 3 levels, that is, with categories and subcategories of products. We create a PMax for each parent category and each subcategory is assigned an ASSET GROUP with its corresponding collection of products. Would we assign another ASSET GROUP to the parent category with all the products (would they overlap with the products of the subcategories) or would it be cannibalization? The point is that the parent category would also be interesting to have it optimized.

    Do you also split the asset groups into the relevant listing groups? So, for the sandals asset group do you exclude everything in the listing group of that asset group besides sandals?

      I think you do, otherwise wouldn't it be competing against each other within the same campaign. I was also wondering. What do you think?

    Aaron, are there a limit for asset groups in a pmax campaigns to perform well? Like maximum of 3 or 5? Thank you!

    • @AaronYoungGoogleAds
      @AaronYoungGoogleAds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Wilson, practically there is a limit of 100 asset groups.
      But in terms of performance I generally don’t have more that 3-5 asset groups in one campaign this because with more than that amount of asset groups you tend to get listing groups that get enough volume.
      And then because the don’t get the volume their conversions suffer which then results in Google not targeting them at all.
      Hope that makes sense

    PMAX is almost like Meta ads approach which is called "push" model. Google is now looking for relevant audiences just how meta ads do.

    Hi Aaron, Thanks for the great video. Last day, I had a meeting with a Google representative from Ireland. They suggested P.Max.
    So today early in the morning, I watched your video and now decided to give it a go but what is your advice. 🙃

    Hey, Aron, do we still need display ads and display remarketing, in that case. Is it still important, or we should focus everything on performance max? Thank you.

    Hi Aaron, thanks for the life saving content. Question: Does this structure work for branded products? Normally you would setup a higher lower priority campaign for that. Wondering if this structure works for branded products.

    • @AaronYoungGoogleAds
      @AaronYoungGoogleAds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Wilco, for PMax remember that they will automatically target branded keywords especially if your product name & brand are the same (or close).
      I do some priority campaigns for remarketing with great results, check out:

      @@AaronYoungGoogleAds so normally you would just use pmax for branded items, test that first? (without extra higher priority campaign)

    We sell a wide range of designer clothing brands. Is it better to have one PMax campaign with different asset groups for each brand we offer ...or to have different PMax campaigns for each brand? So segmenting by product? I prefer the first way, as then potential customers have a wider product offering, rather than just a few products if it was segmented by item type. But feel this might not be the right way to go...

    But how do these campaigns work on a startup microad with a starting budget of 1-200 per month? Not all brand new campaigns can start at thousands of dollars per month...

  • @julielehto3939
    @julielehto3939 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think I have a major account structure barrier to do this. 1 Google Ad account for 1 site. 4 brands, 3 brands on a sub domain of the main. Each campaign today is a brand. Asset Groups are large top level categories and images/copy rarely relates to sub cat or even more granular with product. Must I seperate into 4 accounts to achieve this level of granularity for 10.000 products?
