They can write a mystery movie script. Days before the sinking the billionaire owner’s partner dies in a car accident after winning the lawsuit against their company. The modern superyacht with its owner celebrating the lawsuit win sinks at anchor next to an old wooden yacht that survived the storm and rescued the survivors of superyacht.

I went kayaking once with my daughter and my husband, she had a little life vest on, my husband put it on her, and once we were kayaking, all of a sudden, a squall came up in a matter of about three minutes and the kayak capsized, and we were all in the drink. We were here off the coast of Florida and in a bay and the current was extremely strong and the water choppy. My daughter hit the water, aged 3, and to my horror, her life vest simply popped up off over her head and floated away because my husband had not secured the straps of the vest between her little legs, so the life vest simply popped off and floated away leaving her floating in the water. Fortunately, she had had some swimming lessons so she managed to stay a float. The current was rapidly taking her away from me, and I remember swimming as quickly as possible towards her and grabbing her little swimsuit in a last ditch effort to rescue her. I was out of breath and terrified that I was going to drown. I started trying to swim to the shore with her, but knew I couldn’t make it and let the current take us further down where I could see a large dock jutting out into the water. As we started to approach the dock, the current started to move away from the dock, and I had to struggle to swim towards the dock while holding my daughter and swimming. When we were within about 15 feet of the dock, I made a last ditch effort towards the dock, swimming as hard as I could, and I pushed her and told her to “Swim! Swim!” People who were watching the event unfold on the shore had run along the shore to the dock, and were on the end of the dock with their hands outstretched leaning down, encouraging us. My little daughter reached the piling, she was crying, I rolled over on my back, thankful that she was safe holding onto a rung that led from the water up the piling to the dock. I am an experienced open water ocean swimmer, and at the time I was swimming 3 miles a day just for exercise. If I had not been a swimmer, a good swimmer, we would have both drowned. My husband survived by holding onto the kayak and letting it take him about a mile down along the shore. We had a huge fight over the fact that he had neglected to secure her life vest. How this woman managed to save her baby in the dark and in the midst of a storm like this is beyond me? Angels were surely helping her!

Boats do not suddenly just sink. The right themselves even if they do go over. This was a HUGE yacht 55M (180ft)! not far short of a small cruise ship. It also had flash features like air con, so I can't imagine they were sleeping with the hatches open like I do on my 20 year old vessel. First we hear from an 'eye witness' the mast snapped and fell below the water line, then we hear she's been found intact. Something isn't right here

In such cases, in order to counteract the strong effect of the wind and not drift, the engines are started and the bow is turned against the wind. They endured a storm/small tornado for exactly 16 minutes. Most likely, the ship (boats longer than 24 meters are called ships) turned around itself approximately 180° and the ship's propeller got tangled in the anchor chain. Therefore, structural damage occurred in the aft area where the garage and engine room are located, causing a large leak, the ship started taking in water at this point. Perhaps the bulb keel also broke and a 56-meter ship sank in 60 seconds. Nothing happened to the Dutch flagged ship that was about 200 meters next to it. Strong ships of this type can only be sunk by submarine torpedoes.
