Pretty accurate demonstration on how working on old vehicles or machinery is :D "I'll just take this apart and be done in a few hours". After 10 hours you haven't even began doing what you meant to do.
Catrik .....true. The fun things is that in “reality” it would be frustrating as fuck, and eat into the economic margin of the project, whereas in TH-cam world, as a content maker, it just becomes brilliant content and hence more revenue
It severely depends on the person that last did maintenance to the thing you're taking apart (that could be yourself).
If you take those few extra steps during assembly, you can save 10 hours that you've mentioned during disassembly.
Some examples of this are: picking fasteners that don't break and don't corrode (unlike what BMW is doing on new cars), lubricating threads, cleaning mating surfaces and threads, getting the damn thing straight on there. If you take apart something that has been owned by this kind of perfectionist then the job will be easy.
Took me 3 or 4 days to do Headers and exhaust a lot of time was doing part and tool runs because I never had everything. And also I started at noon.

such a simple grease gun and a weld made 10 ton pressure on that hole. Dont skip school kids, Milo is a exemple of it's utility

@@grilledepoxy8658Well, not like school would say "if you've got a stuck torsion bar on a tank..." :-) but some people are capable of expanding on/extrapolating and seeing patterns/similarities on/to things they've stored away in their heads from earlier.
Or he been shown it in person by someone earlier, or seen it on TH-cam... Mark of C&Arsenal's Anvil used the same method for pushing out a bore obstruction on a gun barrel, machining an adapter to thread onto the muzzle end.

Well... It is the best series of the country, and the best out of all that you can vote for in these awards.
But man, there are some great online series in other languages: AcademeG is making a Bentley continental on tank tracks, some people living in the same city as him make Lamborghini replica's by hand in their hired garage (actually 2 YT channels have such a project: Ilya-Strekal and Машинаторы). And I've only mentioned cool builders from just one Russian city.

Rupsband idee? Bij een autosloperij hebben ze zo een pers waar ze auto’s helemaal in elkaar drukken. Misschien eens een stuk rupsband erin leggen en langzaam de pers een stukje naar elkaar toe laten gaan? Of wellicht een milieupunt? Daar hebben ze ook een pers.

I really admire your diligence in getting through all these issues as you work on the tank. Nothing can stop you, only slow you down! Just like a tank.

13:20 for this kinda situations,to prevent the grease from leaking while hammering the rod,try mixing some bread with grease.It will stop coming out of the edges.

You have that 55 ton Holmatro press , couldn't you use that to generate some force ? Just like you did with the tracks.
Some of the times, pressure is not enough. You need a peek in force. With a big hammer! You can create a lot of force.

Misschien voor die andere torsiebuis een wig op de torsiebuis lassen (in de tank) en dan met de hydrolische pers tussen tank en wig deze persen en gelijktijdig met de vetpomp erop?
