- This is Part 2 of Craig's Birthday Weekend away. This is the first time we have been to Hluhluwe Game Reserve and we were not disappointed. We spotted a lion as we drove to Hilltop Camp. We were happy to have seen 4 out of the Big 5 animals.
The game reserve was about a 2 hour drive from Ballito and Hilltop Camp was about another half an hour from the gate. We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation and really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely go back soon.

African safari is on our bucket list. The hilltop camp looks great minus the pool lol. Wow that dragonfly was strange. That sure is an early morning; worth it. -Shawna🍁
Portly Travellers Thanks so much for watching :) The pool being empty was definitely weird haha I (Chantal) am not a morning person at all, but it was an amazing experience being out there in the wild in the dark 🤗
OMG!! IT WAS 8 YEARS AGO(2014) WHEN I CAME THERE WITH MY PARENTS and my big sister (I was in the 4th grade)...and we made best memories! Nice VLOG video 😘❤❤

Hilltop looks beautiful and the reception people were super friendly. Would love to make it to South Africa at some point in for a safari. That's awesome you got to see a rhino and baby right before heading back for the night! Sorry you got bad weather to keep you from the leopard, but cool you saw the other 4.

That baby rhino was adorable. Too bad the pool wasn't open. The game drive looks like an awesome experience and so cool you got it all to yourselves.

Like the ‘drone dragonfly’ 😂 so cool that the mumma and baby rhino’s crossed right next to you😍 such a shame about the pool, I’d have been gutted we swam everyday to cool off when we went on safari, so hot! 🥵 glad you saw a giraffe 🦒 they were actually our favourite! The restaurant where you guys had breakfast looked so good (you deserve it being up since 4am!)

Being Bedingfield yeh can imagine the rhinos was a very special moment for you guys! 😍 we went to Saadani National park in Tanzania and slept in a hut on the beach surrounded by animals (they gave us a fog horn incase any animals got too friendly in the night!) 😅

Going on a safari is on my bucket list! The landscape is absolutely beautiful. And the wildlife is amazing, of course. 🥰 And the rhino family...what an incredible experience!!

African Safari is something high on my bucket list . !! Loved the animals , zebra , giraffe wow. !! 🦏 are awesome too.. my hometown is near kaziranga national park which is home to around 2000 one horned rhinos !! U are welcome anytym here too

Used to live in Sa and this is and St Lucia is probably the most amazing places I've been. Hope to move back to South Africa one day. Hugs from Europe
