One of the greatest men to have ever walked the earth. Thank you for everything you ever did for all the animals and in particular the elephants and rhinos.

What an amazing human being Lawrence was. I have had the privilege to spend 5 days in Thula Thula and meet the wonderful Nana on two occasions. To be accepted by these amazing wild animals in their enviroment was truley an honour. Big respect to Francoise and the team for continuing the great work Lawrence started.

I totally cried watching this upload. This man was so incredibly selfless to do what he did. His dedication to the elephants was beautiful. His work on earth will never be forgotten. I hope he is resting in eternal peace.

    Amazing and wonderful man..
I've always loved animals, and had a special bond with them- my beloved riding horse had to be kept on a property- many many miles away...I only got to visit him irregularly, yet every time I got a lift to go see him- he'd have left the herd and be waiting at the gate! He always knew when I was arriving.. 💖💖

I loved reading your book "The Elephant Whisperer" and was so touched by the bond you created with the elephants - only a person with your love and passion could create such miracles! Thank you dear Lawrence!

All three books by Mr. Anthony are absolutely fascinating. They actually tell us a lot about life and living- not of the animals but of us humans.

I loved this book and to know that someone took the time and had the understanding of the elephants to be able to do this is just great! I have worked with farm animals that had been abused and found that with patience and understanding they can understand and trust again. The difference here is the tremendous amount of courage and sacrifice it took for him to do it with the elephants. He was a wonderful man and I wish I could have met him. It would have been a great honor to meet and talk to him and his wife.

Bless this man! It’s a shame he crossed over. They say when we die on our way to heaven we encounter EVERY animal we’ve had a relationship with and they decide if we can enter heaven or not. Can you imagine what this man saw when he died? What an incredible human being and what incredible animals! ♥️🐘♥️

I am just now finding out and learning about this fascinating story. Sadly the elephant whisperer, Lawrence has passed on but I do believe his legacy is still carried on Either way, his family’s life and legacy should be brought to the big screen. What a beautiful, remarkable story. Thanks for posting this. ♥️

In India Mysore there is a beautiful and serene countryside in Coorg Madikeri. Mainly consists of coffee plantations and old planters houses and big farmsteads amongst virgin forests. Since i visited a friend 54 miles from there (for Planning/designing an adobe commune, as an architect)and could not visit my Coorgi Friends who are nearing 90 yrs ,I called to chat with them on my return.
They told me about two incidents where 1) their friend a 56 yr old ,at his morning walk was not just suddenly sprung upon by an elephant and dashed into but returned to maul him.He got away with severe injuries to his shoulder legs hips chest etc,In the 2nd incident another elephant attacked a granny taking her grand daughter to school, they're old ran away, while granny could not save her her life.
I asked my friend Mr Cariappa @was it a rogue Elephant ? He said "no,not all "
So there is starting a big construction and real estate activity all over with no respect to lessons learnt post Corona, environmental degradation and increase in human greed , Which have robbed the homes of animals in the wild. The tigers and lions now ,can only be seen in sanctuaries. What are we waiting for when they imbalance the life chain by killing a lot of animal species and poisoning humans with GM food?I feel bad for the youth at large.
Thanks for sharing Elephant Whisper Beautyful Nature!✌

It's now MANY years later and still this is so moving. If only the human race can strive be be like him. NOW, the people not understanding the trauma this herd went through. How will people react if half the town was "culled" and you are forced to forego your natural migration routes and roaming.
