Lol the Samsung Note 7 was literally banned from airplanes because of catching fire in people's pockets. Was caused by sitting on them usually with their thin frames, it was easy to smash the batteries and that caused them to go up. Similar with all LiIon batteries. Smashing them or puncturing them can cause an uncontrollable fire.
Imagine the lawsuits flying if a Ev car does catch fire and explodes and God forbid but hurts innocent people! 😢😢........ the lawsuits will be enough to bankrupt the car companies as well as the insurance companies 😮😮😮
If you poke a hole in a battery for ev cars phones etc it will explode simple ev cars if they fail they are far more dangerous than fuel

My cellphone has a 15 watt-hour battery. A Tesla model 3 has at least a 57,500 watt-hour battery, or 82,000 optional. That’s a little bit bigger fire!
