Hey mate nice work that walking out to the plane and up the stairs brings back fond memories of Adelaide Airport in the 60,s when I was a kid ,there,s something very special about these smaller Airports just never feels pressured or hurried ,i think they represent a better time in travel ,maybe it's just me ,i used to love travel still love flying but the whole big terminal experience is overwhelming. Thank you for the content much enjoyed Kym Adelaide
I definitely hear you. I much prefer smaller airpots to big hubs. I was just in the LA area and was so glad to be flying out of Long Beach instead of LAX. Still busy, but you board via the ramp like seen here, and it's just way easier than trying to deal with SO many people at LAX.
Hey Skylite. Thanks for another excellent video. I enjoyed it. BTW, looking at the food menu, I really hope they actually serve the cheese snacks on a wooden carving board as pictured. (Another aviation lie? Nah...) Also, I really liked the small print notation on that menu saying, "If you prefer a FRESHLY prepared meal, it can be ordered ahead." Does that imply that everything else is stale? 14:39 Is the guy trying to find his airplane? Hope you're doing well. Talk to you soon. Take care.
Unfortunately they do not get presented as they are shown in the menu haha. rather in a plastic or cardboard box haha. And yes, you're right. Perhaps Alaska should re-word that in the fine print. What it actually means is that you aren't guaranteed one at all if you don't pre-order your selection. They tend to not bring many extra from what people pre-order. Which I guess ensures people don't get old ones, but also leaves a lot of people without any when they might've wanted one. I'm doing okay my friend. Just had a lot going on in life recently. I did see your condolences in another post, but it must've been a reply to another comment as I don't remember replying to it. New comments are easy to find as TH-cam gives me a way to sort all comments that haven't been replied to. But, there is no way for me to filter replies to other comments. Your flight took off on runway 11 at SIT....have you noticed what that same runway looks like at the opposite end...runway 29? Noticed it when your flight made a right turn after departure and had to check it out on Google maps. That would be one scary approach and landing.
@@sla31 I did a search and found one of your videos -- SCS 964 -- where you landed on runway 29 at Sitka. Absolutely incredible. I can easily see why this is one of your favorite airports.
Because this was a milk run segment that was operating KTN-SIT-JNU, and you’re not allowed to get off in Sitka if it’s not your final destination. The airport isn’t big enough to have all the through passengers in the terminal too. So, since it’s the same exact aircraft that I boarded in Ketchikan, and I wasn’t allowed to get off here to show it at Sitka, I showed it in Ketchikan so anyone not familiar with the aircraft could see it from the outside. Instead of just starting the video with the interior shots of the plane at Sitka. This way everyone has a reference of the aircraft.
I’m not really sure what you mean my friend. Every flight on here is a flight I took, and the date that I took every flight is listed in the description. So I already list exactly when I took each flight. If you mean something else you’ll have to elaborate further.
Usually in a bed. 😂 Seriously though, hotels are my second largest expense every year behind airfare. I often plan overnights where I know hotels are generally cheaper. I spend a lot of nights in hotels haha.

The engine sound of those CFM56 engines are great. Keep up the good work.
Fantastic scenery mate
The 737-800/900 is a great airplane airliner very nice. I like the Norwegian one too.🇧🇻🇧🇻

Thank you Bryce for uploading the video once again 😊😅🎉😂😂❤❤and what is your next flight video?
The little bit of extra coverage of glacier, waterfall, church, town is greatly appreciated!
I wish I could do that everywhere I go.
Hurray new video!!!!😊😊😊
@30:23 The sound on these videos is excellent. With a nice pair of headphones they're very immersive.
Thats and amazing view of the runway and Sitka starting at 22:40!👍👍
Alaska is so incredible. Great video.
That takeoff was awesome.
I was watching the 3rd Lord of The Rings movie and now, I'm watching your Super-Awesome video on this Pi Day.
Wow... wonderful views.

Maybe that Alaska is a holiday target for me too , but definetly during SUMMER days ...... 🙂

20:36 most beautiful airports
Btw how do you record the flights?
Nice ROCKET T/O
It was indeed a Rocket like takeoff. Thanks for watching!

Yup, and I have footage from landings on both ends of the runway at SIT. SIT is one of my favorite airpots in the world.

Why is the pre-flight and boarding shown in one city, but the takeoff is from another city?

Can i request 1 thing?
Can you tell us if it's either a flight that you took now or before

When do you do a long flight
Well, I usually post long flights on Saturday. I just posted a 6.5 hour one last Saturday.
How do you sleep on all those trips you take?
Usually in a bed. 😂
Seriously though, hotels are my second largest expense every year behind airfare. I often plan overnights where I know hotels are generally cheaper. I spend a lot of nights in hotels haha.
Why was the start of the video in Ketchikan
Because this was a milk run segment that was operating KTN-SIT-JNU, and you’re not allowed to get off in Sitka if it’s not your final destination. Oh ok you should do a flight to Sitka and get off there I want to see what the terminal looks like
