Im late to this but I have actually seen someone make a modded medicom woody with floppyness and pull string. DEFINITELY the most accurate woody we got so far!!

Man I remember when I was little I always wanted this woody because of the face scalp but ever since I got my soft and huggable woody doll I decided to switch the head and try to make the movie accurate

I would probably use velcro for the vest, and as for the weird stitching on the back of his arms and sides of his legs, you could probably use fabric paint to cover them up so that they don't stand out from the rest of the fabric.
Yeah due to the price of this I am scared to do any mods as it may hurt the resale value but it’s a great idea.
You can actually remove the white stitching you just need a thin needle to do it and the arm and leg still stays together and doesn’t fall apart.
I know this because I have done it.

That is quite a Medicom Woody. This is actually the same Woody TS3IRL used to recreate the full live action movie of Toy Story 3.

If I could, I would buy two.
One to keep original, and another to make movie accurate mods such as removing the skeleton and adding a slow retracting voice box.

This looks really great, but I don't know if it's worth the price tag. I'll probably get it if it gets on sale or something. The seam on the hair is jarring though. Not sure why they didn't just make the entire head interchangeable instead of splitting it in two parts.

But yeah in my opinion I like when woodys belt buckle the star on the holster and the speers on his boots are gold

I chose not to get Medicom Ultimate Woody, Because I find it too expensive... Plus, I like my Woody Toys just fine.

Definitely the most accurate, but I find it made with too expensive and fragile materials compared to how it is done in the film, in my opinion
Yeah I agree too fragile for the price
that's an awesome doll but for what you're paying I would expect something more worthwhile. Even thought it's clearly very prime in quality, they could have used the correct yellow color and stitch the vest the body. Also the metal skeleton is taking a lot away from the doll, of course the lack of pullstring voice box is something big for a woody doll, considering that even 20/30 dollars dolls have it. Also the jeans couldn't be stitched correctly due to the metal skeleton. For sure it's a great collector's item, but for movie accuracy we're better off modding and assembling 3 different dolls on our own
I apologize if some of my grammar is off but I'm not a native speaker and that was a big speech, it was difficult to articulate in my native language to begin with lol
Yeah the price point to me is a major cash grab, the quality is top notch so I will give them that doesn’t feel too cheaply made but I do expect more like what I have for my custom Woody as that cost me about $400-500 to make and medicom cost $600
@@todayigrewup I guess the high price is justified by it having a real gem in the holster? At least that's what I heard online, but if it were the case it's so silly because nobody asked for a Woody doll with a real gem, what's the point of it? Also for my mod I'm basing it off being an industrial toy in the '60s top so the producer would try to make it as cheap as possible
That's probably the best "toy" face I've seen, but the smiling face looks really off to me sadly.
Yeah it’s true, it’s technically the “best” official toy we have but still not quite right.
i would recomand this woody for modding to be movie accurate if you know what your doing cuz these cist a lot of money and if you break it good luck buying a new one. and i like the more milky white on medicom buttons and having a more of a milky white

I wonder if it’s just some of them that have the stitching errors, because I have seen pics and vids where he doesn’t have the white thread coming off his arms or the ones on his pants. Perhaps you have an even rarer one with factory flaws? I don’t know how common those issues are in particular, tbh, but could be interesting to have one with its own unique errors. (Just trying to be positive about the flaws, partner). 🙂

I don't know why but I just think medicon Woody it's not rarely movie accurate why do I say this well Because the pollsters doesn't really work and the skin color it's a way to yellowish and the body it's not really accurate and the clothes they look like they've been printed in doll but I do like the hat and I like that you can use different faces but this is just my opinion in this doll

The Ultimate Version of Woody, that was released several years ago, then was discontinued, and went for thousands of dollars on EBay. But then was somehow brought back this year

You’re right lots of things I don’t like but the fans love it and I have to give the fans what they want, this channel isn’t about me anymore it’s about the fans!! So I give them what they want now as much as I can, even if personally it’s not something I would of done on my own. I’m happy to have this in my collection because it’s great for comparisons, reviews and more videos I’m planning to make with this Woody in the future. So I enjoy it.
