  • I take you guys with me to go BEACH fishing from the SURF for whatever bites! We explore a few beaches and toss out some cut bait such as mullet and shrimp to see if anything is around! There can be so many different fish that we could possibly catch in the saltwater and swimming in the surf right off the beach! Will we catch our first bull redfish while surf fishing? Will we catch anything?? I didn't expect this to happen..
    Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 484,100 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

    little tip for surf fishing, try to put your rods as close to the water as possible so that people dont get tangled in your lines(i learned the hard way)

    Install a bionic finger on your rod, especially if you are throwing 6oz sinkers 😉 and feel free to wade in the surf to reach the right spot. It's all about where you cast and reading the waves. Love the surf videos cause I know the possibilities. Peace!

    Snell your hooks when you’re chunking or else the hook won’t hook the fish in the mouth and you’ll lose a lot of fish, it also keeps the hook in line better.

    Man, it breaks my heart to see you didn't have the crazy fishing adventure on the Outer Banks that I was expecting. Sometimes the Fishing Gods just don't glance our way, huh? I do hope you had a lot of fun. As far as bait goes, one of the "secrets" I use when I surf fish is frozen salad shrimp. They're like $1.99 for a little bag of them. You don't use them as the primary bait, but kind of like a Crappie Nibble/Crappie Bite that you might use when panfishing with a lure. Just tag one on the hook after the other bait. It's just a little bit extra, but it tends to work well for me.

    If you really want to catch a bull red in the surf come down to Grand Isle in Louisiana and use shrimp. Works everytime.

    Hey man I know in the past you've wanted to learn how to catfish in fresh water, all I can say is take all of the elements of surf fishing (catching your own bait, surf rods, circle hooks ect) and apply it to your local larger rivers and reservoirs. The other thing I could suggest about ocean surf fishing and fresh water catfishing is try at sunset or just after dark. Tight lines 🎣

    Hi I hope you see this but you can go to Georgia and fish in the mountains or go to the golden isles and fish there or do South Georgia bass and freshwater species fishing. You can also go to lake Lanier and other big lakes and the chattahoochee river for big trout, different bass species, and even sturgeon. If I were you I’d go to north Georgia or the smoky mountains or South Georgia and the swamps and creeks

I would pull the head away from the body and put 2 heads on 1 hook. Small shark candy. Stingrays seem to like the body. I didn’t get on any game fish

    Get some longer rods so you can get out where the decent fish are. 14ft penn tidal , fixed spool reel with 50lb braid , 6oz lead will see you fishing 120 yards out .
    Upsets me that you live where you do then catch all the small fish, so confusing. I'd do anything to live where you do as big fish are hard to come by in the UK, over there your spoilt for choice

    Try not casting as far, most of your bites are gonna be behind that 1st breaker. I think you were overcasting that's why it was hard to find fish. We have a saying up in Delaware and that is "if you throw long you've done wrong.".

    • @FoxTenson
      @FoxTenson ปีที่แล้ว

      What I was thinking too, also moving to the right of where he was would increase bites as I noticed breaks in the breakers showing a deeper cut or pool there. I've caught some big fish 6 inches from the shore in the breaking waves and pools can be small as 3 foot wide and hold lots of fish. Takes a while to learn how to read the beach!

    • @yo_donny
      @yo_donny ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FoxTenson exactly what I was thinking! Big fish arnt always in deep water. This summer I was fishing a lagoon and caught some slot size in the 20 inch range but the water wasn't super deep either, I also saw 3 bull reds Cruz through in a foot of water!
