I have a Pineapple Conure Pickles and a Blue Grey Quaker Parakeet Lilikoi. I luv what you did thank you for sharing great ideas for me to add.

We already painted it now we have to clean it and get all the clutter out as it has became a storage room which is stressing me out and I want to put runners over the carpet for easier clean-up! That is what I keep thinking to put down. Getting ideas for this will be their first time out of their cages because of safety
Hi, I'm so sorry for my late response. You can find them at any hardware store, I think they are called anchors or expansion nails. You need matching screws for them, it's easy to buy them together. Good luck with your project!
You can work with them slowly by doing positive reinforcement training just to your presence at first so that they aren’t afraid of you, like giving them a treat every time you pass by the cage. Then you can hold out your finger in front of them and hold a treat in your other hand further away so that they have to step on your finger to get to the treat. Every time they step on your finger you give them a treat and some praise and you practice that lots while staying very consistent. Say something like “step up” as a command so that then later on you can say the command and they will know what to do.
Colin is doing very well, he's responding well to the supplements and that makes me so happy! His feathers are again white and clean and he's full of energy! Thank you for asking.
