- First plot tour of 2024 and January. Been away from the plot for 3-4 weeks due to being unwell. Now better and want to show you what the plot is like and what the plan is for the future.

Wow, the compost bin is looking great. I’ve not been to my plot other than to cover the bits in the greenhouse with fleece for weeks as I’ve had the lurgy for 4 weeks. I might go down today (Monday) as it’s gorgeous blue skies (freezing) to have a nosey at my compost bins. I’m a typical female and scared of all things crawling so I don’t look in it very often!!!
I think everyone has been under the weather recently - def something going round. It’s lovely today blue skies, sun shining, but absolutely freezing. I need to crack on with digging and prepping the ground for my shed, but it’s too frozen at the moment. Just peak in your compost bin and ignore anything crawling 😂

Hi Jane. We’re currently having a Snow Storm at present, so the jobs at the plot will have to wait a bit longer. Mark
@@GrowingWithPlot21 oh no. I'm in SW Wales and no snow here but spoke to someone in Liverpool who has snow. 😬 So much bad weather these days.

Hi mark you could probably make some shelves from the remaining unbroken green house poles, shame to chuck out if something can be salvaged.🙏👍👌

😂😂 what do they say? Reuse and Recycle. Gardening is expensive as it is, if you can re-purpose something then why not.

Glad everyone is feeling better ❤️🩹. Lovely to get back to the allotment I bet. Happy there isn’t a lot of damage 👍👍. It’s last day of freezing weather here today hopefully 🤞 we are due a few days rain. Elephant garlic is super slow mine took literally months. Have an amazing week Mark, stay warm, Ali 🥶🥶🇨🇦
It’s going to get colder here Ali. Not as cold as you, but forecast to go down to -7 by next weekend. So I don’t think I’ll be able to do much digging / jobs at the plot. I need to start sowing some seeds indoors. Stay warm too.
