    Krav Maga is an approach to a combat that utilizes punching, kicking, ... - all means to get your op done. But it doesn't even come close to teaching you to "Punch" or "Kick" like Muay Thai or boxing do... And in a real-life situation, the one who strikes first and hardest is a most likely winner. And those "groin and neck" strikes... It's easy in training, but hard to do in real-life... - any puncher and kicker will kick one's neck and balls as easy as they kick legs or punch jaw, and in terms of reaction, speed and power - Krav Maga will never give what Muay Thai and boxing will. Any decent striker will quickly learn Krav Maga, but it will take long for Krav Maga practitioner to become a decent striker. The bottom line - Krav Maga is an excellent combat system for those who are already good in something, but not so for those who want to become serious fighters. Learn the basics

    2/ most instructors will tell you if you can get out of the fight with just talking or walking then do it, best to not fight at all, let them say all the want,but if they touch you then defend urself, whatever martial art you do i respect them all, that why fellow student and father of mma bruce lee said why learn 1 when you can teach your body to learn everything , but definately go to a class ,ive heard of ppl watching movies and then the think the know how to defend there,selves , practice makes perfect ,respect everybody but trust none ,stay safe but always stay on your toes as you never know when anything can happen espec nowadays, take care fellow martial artist....

    I have loved all martial arts all my life and respect to everyone of them,as there is NOT a bad martial art that doesnt teach some sort of self defence, when i was about 7 yr old i joined ju jitsu and as a kid its great,as you learn self defence to avoid being scared from bullys at school, Even though i only had 2 major fights that started in high school, 1 where i decided i had enough and me and the other guy in my year met at a park after school and yes you get the usual lots of idiots coming to watch shout etc as its a fight, david the guy i fought was a judo trainee and i was ju jitsu, think thats why it started ,disagreement on which martial art was best, luckily it only lasted a few minutes and my 2nd fight was at school through bullys 5 actualy who used to chase me home soon as i was away from friends and on my own, went on for which seemed ages ,so at dinner time i went got my 4 friends 1 who done taekwondo and the rest well they just could fight when needed,but i had the idea i go for the one who was behind it all, so we met them at the back of the dinner hall before bell, i said just me and you ,your friends jump ,my friends will to ,so it was put to him on the spot and he kind of coward walking away slowly untill his friend said just fight him and i said cmon yes just fight as its not that when use 5 are chasing me home almost every night on my own, so he saw that people had started to watch wait to see if this happens,so he said ok, minute he said ok put his hands near his side i caught him with a left side kick to the face which he hit the wall then went down and that was it he coward puttin his hands up, and from that day i never got chased or saw them again ,im actualy friends with him and another 1 who used to chase me, i left ju jitsu went to thai boxing as my best friend was the instructor and i done muay thai for 12-13 years , but thing about muay thai 1000s of years the used muay thai in wars aswell with swords, blades even elephants back then , but i have studied krav maga i like the self defence ,its not all about burstin eye balls etc ,u get attacked take them out if u can and get away ,thats more like krav maga ur not running from the fight ur defending urself from attack defending urself and getting away.

      Oh nice I almost got in a fight with a shrimp who claimed he beat me up because he claimed to beat me up after I ended a fight between us that wasn’t going anywhere he was only swinging lightly to the side of my head but he kept telling all his friends all year I came close to beating him up but instead I decided to have a smarter approach and not risk my graduation I’d flat ask him to punch me as hard as he could to size up to him and when we challenged each other to a fight I would grab a hold of his arm when he swung bring him in closer and start swinging at him while he has his hands on his head but I’d keep my fist an inch away from his body so I don’t risk my graduation that was my other way of sizing up to him that provoked him so he continued to tell his friends he beat me up but but the fact that barely any of his friends believed him because of our size difference underwhelmed me from taking further action and the most mature decision would be to ignore him since he’s just saying he beat me up because he wants to look cool in front of his friends and because he was provoked that’s when you see someone’s true colors

      @@aliasalias9768 yeah very true, when the are put on the spot after thinking there mr muscle or miss muscle as females are just as bad at school for being in the bullys circle ,if not worst, and no im not being sexist, im just saying its similar but female bullys will go to it a little further,as ive saw the girls who were at my school, there more vulgar with the mouth to bully victims ,rather than fight, which as alot of people know world wide ,words alone have caused innocent poor victims of bullys to commit (suicide) ,something im extremely against, where guys will be just as bad ,mouthing to then getting the feeling they know the person is frightened, then the turn violent because then the think the can control that person, and that is something that hurts , a video was put up on facebook, of a younger guy and his friends in a toilet in a school some where across the u.s it never said where, but he was shouting at a young guy who was alot bigger than him in height and size, but the boy had a disability problem and was screaming crying, and this bully kept making a fist and was walking back and forward throwing a punch but stopping before it hit the boy, you know they ones the try or do get people to cower back in fright, OMG theres was millions of comments and millions of views ,was sickening, but this happens daily round the world, at yet schools need to clamp it down alot harder than excluding the person as that makes things worst, there should be law involved, as you get older and relise that life has hard paths you go through and it either makes you stronger ,and i know whoever reads this was waiting on ,or either a victim all your life, but no it makes you either stronger or effects you to the point you can see 1000s now thats ended there life or now wont go out and gave up on school etc, thats why im glad theres martial arts, you get people taken the pis* out it, but as mike tyson said, everyone has a plan till there punched in the face... bullys are hated ,there not cool, and there definately not going to be popular, so if your one thats reads this to say something stupid, lifes so much easy now online theres a thing called block ☺ enjoy life, dont let anyone stop you going for your goals in life...

    It's not a matter which martial arts is best it's about how you train it

    Well nothing will beat muay boran lethwei and kun khmer because these created muay thai so it can be in the ring

    So muay thai is better if you spend years on it, but you can learn krav maga in a few months and do just as good.

    • @bgdavis5089
      @bgdavis5089 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and no. You can do just as good *within a limited set of situations.* But the muay thai (or any other serious martial artist) will end up with a much bigger skill set. Actually, though, in the first few weeks a krav maga guy *might* actually do better because he has less to learn. It's a question of how wide and how deep.

      Gilgamesh Of Sumer Since grappling beats striking usually BJJ is usually better than Muay Thai but if Marco rua fought some BJJ brown belt than he would reck that guy

      @@michaelterrell5061 false because when your in a ring fight and you know muay thai lot of moves they use it illegal so it hard for them no to use the illegal technique when they get grappled like for example if someone tried to grab me and body slam me i will spam 12 to 6 elbow on his spinal area or neck or top of head or face but like i said in the ring they will win but in a real street fight bjj is useless
