Oh you were so close. Next time you will have to go down. It's so nice and really not that far if you make it to the top. 👍

Been looking at doing this with my mates for ages. How long did it take for you to get from the bike track to the bottom?

It can be done pretty quickly once you know the way. I think it only took us about 15 to 20 min to get back up to the bikes. It took us longer to get down for 2 reasons. 1, we got lost at the top, There are lots of tracks going the wrong way. 2, we went the longer way. In the video you will see us climbing up through the boulders to get there. This is the long way. Once you're down through the "chimney" section, if you stick to the bottom of the cliff it will be much quicker. That's the way we came back up.
Also the bike ride was about 8.5km each way.

When u go thru the chimney and make ur way down the steep decent. Do u keep going down to the water or keep along the cliff to get there quicker and easier ?

Quickest way is to stay close to the bottom of the cliff. It was my first time when we went and we went down to the water and then back up through the boulders. This was pretty cool but a lot longer.
Keep an eye out for arrows marked on a tree. I saw them on the way back.

@@andrewp4419 So Close! In my video if you pause it at 2 min 55 sec, the tree to the left of the blue T-shirt has an arrow on it. That's what you need to follow to go the quick way. Its right where you would have turned left and headed down to the water. I didn't notice the arrow until i was back home looking through the footage. This could be helpful for your next attempt. Good luck!

Is there any walking track to get into the waterfall? Thanks

Unfortunately you have to park at the start of Budderoo Plateau Rd. There is a locked gate there. if you're lucky enough a local could drive through and give you a lift but that's very unlikely. It's about 5.5km down Budderoo Plateau Rd when you need to turn right at the Hersey trail and travel about another 2.5km.
From here is the decent where there is no official track but it's well used and easy to follow. Without bikes it would be roughly a 20km round trip. Most of that on open fire roads apart from the final decent.
      Hope that helps.
The Hersey trail does continue till the top of the falls but we didn't go there.

A person was seriously injured (broken spine in 2 places and pelvis) resulting from them following the advice on this video. I'd suggest you remove it urgently. What the heck were you thinking?!

They were probably thinking how good this place is and how good of a day they were having.
