This is true Monopoly. The earlier videos created a sort of false impression that the game wasn't a salt fire garbage game that drives friends to hate eachother, but I'm glad we've got the full experience now.
It must be said though,everyone said trains would decide the winner, having a train and a set wins you the game. Guess who won the game, the dude with all the trains and a good set. I don't know, I just found that funny.
I got really hyped for monopoly again when they started playing and was sorely disappointed when i got the ubisoft monopoly version only to find out that you can't really play with the rules. There are 2 rules that should be in every monopoly game: free parking money and no rent while in jail. But you can't combine those rulesets in this game, which is utter bs. You can have either free parking money or no rent while in jail but also every property has to go to auction, which just ruins the whole point really. This is purely a warning to anyone with the idea of getting this game after seeing the boiks play. Love the board game vids! Hope you do a round of munchkin again some day, or pandemic, or maybe play the achievement hunter heist game ;)
I think FP is just a bad rule if you are trying to make the most skillful game. Auction+Jail is prolly the only skill game you can make, seems fine to me.
I just want to have fun, not be skillful or improve at monopoly. I want to play with the homebrew rules that i choose, which clearly they could have easily made into an option considering that all the extra rules are already programmed into the game.

On his death bed on Oxford street, through one final act of love, he gave his brother everything that mattered to him. "Take good care of the engines, make sure to lube them up." Then he was gone. Ross vowed to avenge his dear brother against those who mercilessly crushed him and mocked his deals, especially the great Manipulator who turned the world against him, dat one guy, the root of all evil, the Overlord Sips. Through sheer hard work and toil, Ross built his empire and lubed the engines. His dedication to Thomas paid off, and he ran over and crushed the Flax. The RNG Gods took heed of Ross's love for the departed Smiff. They laid their left hands on the dices of Sips, like a Thot grabbing a faggot's balls, and commanded "Thou shall get shafted by Regent street". They laid their right hands on the dices of Ross and commanded "Thou shall get free parking 4 lyfe" And so it was, That great evil, the scheming, manipulative and balding serpent Sips, was cast into the great pit of salt and brine till the next series. Amen. P.S: Sips deserved every bit of salt at the end.
