But I actually thought it was one of the most awful trades in that round, light blues are far more profitable than the browns, and people are more likely to land on the blues than the browns, so in hindsight Trott gave up two properties that gave his opponent a set whilst acquiring a set himself but far weaker than his opponents.

He went from almost no chance of winning by going for the blues which would be very hard to get from Smith, to a slight chance of winning by completing the bown set instead, hope 2 people land on them quick, and then try to work on another set. Little idea, may be bad may be good, have you considered mortgaging all your properties that arent part of a complete set, e.i if you have one red your better off mortaging and getting a lump some of a couple of hundred rather than maybe getting £20 when its landed on, the advantage this gives is you still have a good bank balance in which to bid on other properties, at the moment once youve bought 3 or 4 properties your relying on the tiny income to earn enough to keep investing, meaning better chance of set completion, obv some would be mortgaged but your still denying other getting those properties and your genreally making more from GO than you do from income on a singular property

I've noticed they all tend to go for things that don't help them.
Just STOP using the board map... use the D-Pad to scroll through your owned properties. Saves going over all the properties to get to yours, and deal with the shit UI.
