I typically only eat semla on shrove tuesday (just out of tradition and also I'm fat), but this was zany enough that I had to try it.
Semmel Burger is avaliable from Burger King in Sweden (no idea if this is a national campaign) at time of publishing.

Props to Burger King for doing something at all.
This time of the year gimmicks and "fun" takes on Semlor are everywhere, though not usually at chains like BK.
Seems like it was just that though, not too bad but not good enough to be memorable? And probably something you don't buy twice.
