    Its amazing how he dramatizes his aspirations with so much passion but the creativity behind the "show down" is the fact that he knows, in all sincerity, except if psychotic, that nothing will actually change for good just by his own contribution. However his efforts/contribution are, of course, beneficial in emancipating/liberating Nigerian youths into consciousness. People like him need help. I personally pray for him, regardless his political ambition or shortcoming, may the spirit of truth continually rejuvenate him. Ase (Amen in Yoruba)

And even so, because our nation is still fallen deep into the aqua of economic radiculopathy,,social stupor and political sciatica. The political bandits continue to redefine our lives daily in a manner akin to a script from lucifa's playbook. May God arise and the enemies of this nation, Nigeria, be scattered. Amen!

    The honest truth is that Pat is bemoaning rather painfully the state of the nation and politics. His use of words may elude those not grounded enough in classics,poetry, philosophy, history or politics. But he is vary apt and communicating when you are a little at par with him, rather than confusing his audience he is challenging the youths and all to read widely, only then can you comprehend and don,t seem lost with his tirades of indignation nor label him 'mad'. So were philosophers before him ridiculed but the truth in their message remains never obliterated over time and space.

    Those who call this man a mad man are the indolent folks of our time who find reading and research appalling and repulsive and can never lift a finger to salvage themselves from their intellectual benightedness and "ignorance of the mind" as the popular philosopher, Conficius described it. Every single word this man utters is in a dictionary but it might not be the local and traditional dictionary we're accustomed with.

      Victor Emmanuel You just ended up contradicting yourself. I really think there is need for you to learn the rudiments of English language before trying to correct someone else because your diction sucks just as your honorable Patrick. That you use ambiguous words does not portray you as a "great speaker". You call people indolent when you can't even see past your own asininity. If you want to make an argument with regards to English language, at least try not to be simplistic in your judgments and assessment of people. That someone uses vocabularies is in no way a yardstick to judging that person's English language skills / abilities. There are a lot of other factors which I know for certain Hon. Patrick lacks. How about learning a thing or two about phonetics? His accent is the worst I have heard in a long long while. He really needs to see Prof. Wole Soyinka for English lessons. And you, go learn what good communication skills are and come back with a healthier argument! Two questions for you: how often do you see the Whites speak this way? Do you think you know the dictionary more than they do? After all, you and this clown never coined any word in the dictionary so shishhhh!

    • @proftv210
      @proftv210 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Victor Emmanuel I think to the best of my knowledge as a Professor of Liberal Arts, there is nothing wrong with his way of delineation. People tends to judge one's intellectual property which is not ethically good to do. My question is "how do you know what your audience lacks or understands? ". Communication is infinite, Hon Patrick is a latitudinarian and a cosmopolitan who has bathed himself in the aqua of social and political cross current. I therefore advise people to learn more and read more if they lack the comprehensive ability and acumen to digest his way of communication.

    • @chris333918
      @chris333918 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Oluwaseun Gbemi You do not need to be a rocket scientist to ascertain what your audience needs. I am sure you have sat among great foreign speakers, right? Do you hear them speak the way this buffoon does? You are a Nigerian I suppose? What is the percentage of illiterates as opposed to literates? Do you really think many can't speak like this? Ultimately, you'll end up making a fool of yourself because the message is not being efficaciously conveyed. I have attended English language courses in the UK and the USA and have NEVER heard English professors speak like this clown does. I asked a simple question above: how many English words has this Patrick guy coined into the dictionary? While replying, please do tell me. It is not about getting excited at words written by other people. Tony Blair and Bill Clinton are among the world's best speakers yet, you cannot hear them making a fool of themselves like this. This guy has the worst accent ever. He needs to take English lessons from Prof. Soyinka.

    • @proftv210
      @proftv210 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only thing I deduced from his volume of communication is just his accent. He needs to be more calm and relax.

      Tbh even over here the different ideologies are just smoke and mirrors, politics is a business at the end of the day. It’s about power and wealth. Doing what’s right by the people is secondary so the core of politics in Nigeria and over here in the West is still the same.

I can't blame him, Nigerians who don't understand should look up the dictionary and they will see that all the words he's saying has a meaning and it makes sense when he uses them in a sentence. Because you don't know what he's saying doesn't mean that he talking rubbish, he's just being himself. He has a very wide vocabulary and I feel like we can all learn from him.

    Although his eloquence is slightly off and his incorrect pronunciations of obsolete words, the topic raised and discussed is not to be ridiculed.If we can look past his faults and focus on what is important, we can all have an effect on making Nigeria a successful nation. As he mentioned "At all point in time in any democracy, the people and only the people must remain the philosopher kings". His clearly got the people in mind and not trying to exploit the nation.

    if you understood, explain to us . which one is you understood and you can not tell us how you understood. Maybe two of you are on the same realm(Mad). Brilliance is only truly brilliance when what you know can be at least understood by 40 - 70 percent of what you know and how you pass across this knowledge. When people do not understand him, as a public speaker has he not defeated the purpose? . See your mouth like his brilliant .Ode
