We also got a chance to visit Quatre Bornes Market.
Thursdays and Sundays it has textile market on Wednesdays and Saturdays it has vegetable and fruit market.
Since we went on a Saturday, we got a chance to see the vegetable market. There were colourful varieties of vegetables and fruits at reasonable price. It was a great experience!

I’ve always wanted to travel to Mauritius! I didn’t know that there was only one metro line-even if there’s only one, it looks so beautiful and brand new! 🤩 It reminds me of France’s train and metro systems. The staff always check your tickets once or twice and the views from the windows are amazing! Thank you for this little peek at life in Mauritius! 😊

My dear it was just invented coz i studied there for 3yrs en i graduated in 2016. It wasn't even yet in plans i think. I even feel sorry for myself for the times i wasted on bus stops waiting for busses after seeing this metro being invented there

    Great metro! 😍
I'm very curious to know about its future extensions. I read in the new that there's a PHASE 4 but I really couldn't understand the details. Could you please explain to me this "phase 4" (like, how many kilometers of new tracks?)? And do you perhaps know about what other extension projects/proposals are there for this metro? For instance, is there any project to extend the metro upto the Airport? Because that would be very convenient for tourists and residents alike! 😁😁
