Here's what I'm thinking ...Remember when Ethan was playing with his toys and talking about monsters in the R.V..In the pilot episode? Maybe all this is made up by him and all the characters are people he meets along the way. There was a show called St. Elsewhere back in the day where the last episode of the series revealed a twist and we find out the whole show was made up in the mind of an autistic boy. Also..perhaps it's called "From" because it's from the mind of a child. 🤔
That's a damn good theory @marzinator! He also has a moment in the RV where he wakes up from a dream and talks about how he saw "the lake of tears", which are also related to that story of the Cromenockle... 🧐

what i dont understand is why do so many people think theres a "mole" at all. we know the monsters know things, lots of things, things that happen during the day when they aren't out, names of people. we can go on and on. and if there is some kind of omniscient and omnipotent 'big bad' what would be the purpose of the 'mole"? why do "they" need one? to gather information? they have that. to orchestrate events? is tilly doing that? maybe donna, but really? can someone help me out - IF there IS a "mole", why?
This whole mole idea is Randall's fault for putting it in Jim's head and then ours 🙄
IF there is a mole my guess is their role is to sow terror and make sure people feel hopeless
i just rewatched the episode and for some reason they zoomed in on the puzzle that Ethan is putting together. it a puzzle of a town. What if that is what the original town looked like or i was even thinking it was Camden, Maine? maybe I'm reaching, idk
Personally I think none of those hallucinations are hallucinations...they are projections or visions.
I feel so sorry for Kenny...I have a feeling Kristi is a going to die soon too, that is going to break Kenny mentally and that could lead him to be a villain or...get him killed. I think Kenny is going to hunt those monsters maybe find a way to kill them but get killed in the process.
