The scarecrows have a crown of horseshoe nails. This shows how long ago they were created. The log cabins along with the two wagon wheels on the ground date back to the Civil War era. This ties in with the Union soldier who shot at Jade in season one. Speaking of that soldier, a promo poster for season three shows Jade with one regular eye and the other eye a pale color. The Civil War soldier also had one pale colored eye.

anyone else notice there was no bottle tree in front of Henry's house. There is one in the trailer. So perhaps the bottle tree is in front of Eloise's house
The hospital is named St. Anthony's. St. Anthony was the saint of travelers. He was a patron saint for the recovery of lost things (items, people) etc. His 13 virtues include hope. All of which seem to be reoccurring themes in the series. I would doubt the producers would coincidentally have her in a church with that name on the 13th floor and going to see a priest in a church for answers....
@@Amarie730 she would be able to give the names of a whole bunch of other Americans from around the country as well as roughly when they went missing. Including some from before she was alive. She could simply say they have all been kidnapped by a group of people who won't let them leave. These people all have families who would no doubt like to know their family member is alive. She has zero reason to avoid the police other than the terribly lazy show writers can't be bothered to do that because it would mean having to write in a lot more characters and have them actually do things.
@@amandawalker7739 all she had to do was tell them her family and a bunch of other people had been taken hostage and taken to a a random remote abandoned town by a bunch of nut jobs with guns. she could even say it was white supremacists, the government would believed her then... they'd be frothing at the mouth to find the place. either way she didnt have to mention a single supernatural part of it. she had no reason to run away, running away just makes her look extremely suspicious. and ultimately it just makes the show look cheap. its already incredibly cheap with how little actually happens in the show. they clearly wrote that she avoids the police in order to keep the show "small" same thing with the latest episode. kenny wants to burn the monsters.. but ehh, hold on, setting actors on fire, thats costly,.. how about the character just forgets that idea and they just try and trap them in a cage instead? an actor in a cage is cheap....
Boyd said that he knew that was not Abby talking about hope so that is a lie about the forest feeding on hope. Whatever it was did not want Boyd to destroy the music box. I think Bictor was just saying that they had to get outside and get the animals sheltered before the monsters came. Sara was outside because she heard the commotion just like everybody else did. Yes, we have seen the bride a few times.
Okay hear me out my theory is their ability to have real hallucinations is from the food they are eating, which begs the question where is the food coming from. Well it’s coming from the soil which is a part of the living town and since they are technically consuming the town, the town has the ability to influence what they see and what they dream about which gives the town all the information they need to know about they people and how to feed off their hopes and fears. I also believe the town feeds off on their deaths which is evident when their crops start to die they weather and the weather gets worse because the town is starving and that’s when the monsters decide to make an ace move by opening the barn whicheventually leads to Tia Chengs death. Kenny and Jim suddenly find food and crops in a remote part of town right when Tian Cheng was “sacrificed “, that means there is food available as long as the is a steady stream of death which keeps the town nourished so it can also give the people food.
Too many comments to scroll through so I hope I'm not repeating someone else. Anyway, 2 things: 1. Tabitha doesn't say it was her boy that fell. She said my child. But later, the priest asks What is your his name? Is the priest in on all this? 2. Zombie woman - does she have a different kimono on from her 1st appearance? Anyway, her face is much fuller than the 1st time. Arre there 2 zombie women or is she getting more humanoid? I also think she's there to help not harm. Maybe she was trying to save Eldin from drowning rather than trying TO drown him. Her 2nd appearance she has her hands out in a supplication way, palms up. Not an aggressive approach at all.
We're gonna touch on this very SUS priest on the next live stream for sure. But also, I believe the Zombie woman's upgraded appearance is a result of the folks having more time to work on the effects of the show (and probably a bigger budget)

Funny you mention the Boy in White considering the writer's strike that occurred between seasons, so unless the original Boy in White was a legal midget he might've aged and grown up in the last few years, but the last major writer's strike that affected tv shows was between seasons 3 and 4 of Lost.
True. The writers strike certainly added time between seasons. And the kids are gonna get older and I love to poke fun at it in shows. Stranger things is probably the most glaring. Imdb says it's the same actor 🤷🏾♂️

Tabitha's room number was a hidden clue, I think. There's been a recurrence of the numbers 4 and 7 (Remember Tilly with the 4 children and 7 grandchildren, and then there are 7 of the ghost children). Tabby's room number was 2225. 2+2, 2+5. It may be a stretch, but I can't imagine it's not intentional.
Can it be possible that Eloise or Victor's mom ended up in another part of the country due to carrying with them someone else's personal item. Like Tabitha ended up in Maine because of the lunchbox?🤔
I'm so ready for GTA 6... Well, almost, still gotta get me a PS5 but I'm mentally ready 😂 But Randall saved Jim when the house fell on him so there's that too 🤣
Tabitha was on floor 13 at the hospital. That is a floor buildings and hospitals skip, they got 12 to 14, floor 13 is known as being evil and has been linked to a lot of tragedies. She is definitely still in Fromland.

Firstly thank you for the entertaining way of delivering your review. I like your style. Subbed and dinged. Appreciation where it is due, my man. I think, judging by the design of the logs going across in the huts, they resemble crude two person houses made by Vikings, which they stayed in on their way to Upsala. Also I'm interested in what you think of the theme of "breaking" throughout FROM.. whether people arrive in Fromville broken, or whether the town breaks them..?
Thank you so much @lexiedovahkiin! I appreciate you showing support and subbing! The theme of people getting broken is very very important. Something that we often see is that the monsters are actively working to promote a sense of "hopelessness" in the residents and it feels like it's very important to them. I am going to go into this EXACT topic a bit more in next week's video and I can't wait to see what you think when I unleash my theory 😏
@@Themovieblog Ohh, even more reason to wish the week to hurry along! Also the theme of spinning webs.. like the town is one giant web, with people like flies caught in the multiple layers, or rings. Culminating towards one little central spot.. the red entity could be the web, and this could explain how the "monsters" are able to tap into the "web" of consciousness and knowing things about the people. Some things I think about, haha 🤣
@@lexiedovahkiin the town certainly has the residents trapped like a spider in its web but we still haven't confirmed how big this place is. I'm excited to see them explore more
I chuckled a bit the goat's name was Alma. I wish this was a F.E.A.R. easter egg. I do want to point out on the map of where people were taken, there's a white much larger pin in Maine

Okay I have a few things 1. The manacle on the house where Jim and Kenny went 😳 2. Every door in Colony House has an upside-down cross on it 3. The puzzle Ethan is doing.. just happens to be a harbor?
Honestly I wouldn’t be upset AT ALL if they killed off Jim. I am so tired of him. All he does is cause problems for his family and the townspeople. Literally everything he does is unnecessary and causes additional problems. He never helps with anything. Doesn’t help build, doesn’t help harvest crops, doesn’t help with literally anything. BUT he constantly asks and yells at people to help him. He needs to go. The sister can take care of Ethan that would work just fine, cuz she does it anyways considering he abandons his kids in every single episode.
Jim wanted to go alone.. he didn’t ask anybody to help him.. his wife just disappeared if it was your significant other i doubt you would just sit around waiting for her to come back
@@Flawless38brownYeah I don't get the Jim hate either. People act like he hasn't done anything. The radio tower was a plan, the drone was a plan, going to the forest to find out about Tabitha was a plan. He can't help if it doesn't work out. His kid was literally running into the forest looking for his mom. What was Jim supposed to do? tie him down so he doesn't open the door at night thinking Tabitha is back when the monsters trick him.
Zombie lady looks like the same zombie lady that tried to drown Elgin in the bathtub when he was dreaming. In the first episode Victor ran out of peaches. He said the peaches were always there. I believe it was an omen that the food was going to rot. At first the monster appeared to be just monsters. They are more than that. They are intelligent, they work together, cold and calculating.
If I had gotten out of the town by dying, I would have done all I could to tell literally everyone that if they end up in that town, to tell everyone to die, because that's the way out. I'd make it into a creepypasta, I'd post it all over reddit, I'd write a book, make videos, I'd do some controversial stuff just to get the word out. I wouldn't care if people thought I was crazy, because I would know that sooner or later someone will find their way into that town, and if they have all of the information I handed out, they'd know exactly what to do.
Could be a good entity. Maybe a light and dark entity are in a struggle. One lives off hope and the other off despair. So the wife (dark entity) wanted to kill hope to weaken the good entity.
I know ppl think Tilly/donna are sus but imo the most sus person in the whole show is Jim. We literally know nothing about him. He’s very standoffish and aggressive. Everyone else has either died or told their story. Jim and Victor are still a mystery.
Jim imo is just a guy, normal life, normal background. Lost a kid, about to go through a divorce, nothing more really going on except the fact he's just a guy. I don't really think Donna is that sus, my biggest itch is Elgin, I can't wait to figure out what's up with him and why he has a connection to this place. And why Tilly is mostly always pooping up and disappearing around him.
what I think is that Tabitha, Victor, Sarah, Jade, Elgen and Ethan are the keys who can help the people to get out of this town and Boyd is the one who will link al the keys and solve the mystery of this town. Tabitha is out of the town so now she has to contact back to other keys in the town and help them get of this town. All the keys should sit together and need to tell each other about the things they know.

Don’t know if this is just a coincidence or not but St. Anthony is patron saint of lost people, souls, items etc.
Kenny about to go john wick
I honestly feel like this is his villain origin story 😢😓
@@Themovieblog that last scene was hard to watch dude , poor misses lu , the cow knew there something in there in the barn. If they had used there brain they could had put the animals in there house itself but boyd made a dump decision

We need it tho based on the intro I have a feeling setting the monsters on fire will actually kill them
Tilly keep popping up & disappearing. Don’t know about her
Oh yeah! Definitely something up with her
She creeps me out 😬
I don't trust HA at all!!!😂
I feel like she’s been there before because she was so excited playing in the rain when she arrived there.
I don't think she's there for good reasons either. If she's replacing Katri(sp?) as a source of hope in Fromville and hope is what the forrest thrives on, she can't be there for good reason.
if Tabitha told the police they would most likely think she was insane and get her checked into a mental institution
Best solution is get some money from family and get a ride back to From town
Hello There!!! Great 1st episode 'shatter'. I got it right!!!!! kinda annoyed i didnt get that lunchbox connection was so simple!!!! I get Tabitha not wanting to see the cops how you explain what happened to her? People will think she crazy...also thats a big damn house with only 1 bathroom!!! lol
Well Hello there @michaellamont250! You're absolutely right about the house being too big for just 1 bathroom. You'd think they'd be used to just going in the woods 🤷🏾♂️🤔
@@Themovieblog there are certain rules to 'TV series' If you dont see the character die on screen....s/he is not dead.
It all points to Mrs Liu being the one that has died and in the cart BUT it may be mis direction. Mrs Liu is wearing dark boots when she helps Boyd with cow....body in cart had white/light colour shoes(or soles)......its what i would do if i was writing it it
Keep in mind that house is old as dirt 😂 it wasn’t common to have lots of bathrooms
This episode had me stressing out and by the end all I could feel was nausea and sadness 😢
Same. Had me feeling kinda doneish. I'll watch again when the seasons are completed if it ends well. I realized with this ep the joy of watching this is gone 😢

anyone else notice there was no bottle tree in front of Henry's house.

She was probably scared of the police simply due to her suddenly appearing (out of thin air) ALONE after having gone missing with her family of 4🤷
thats nonsense.
I agree, they would probably think she had something to do with their disappearance
@@ge2719 She has every right to avoid the cops. They wouldn't believe her
@@amandawalker7739 all she had to do was tell them her family and a bunch of other people had been taken hostage and taken to a a random remote abandoned town by a bunch of nut jobs with guns. she could even say it was white supremacists, the government would believed her then... they'd be frothing at the mouth to find the place.
either way she didnt have to mention a single supernatural part of it. she had no reason to run away, running away just makes her look extremely suspicious. and ultimately it just makes the show look cheap. its already incredibly cheap with how little actually happens in the show. they clearly wrote that she avoids the police in order to keep the show "small"
same thing with the latest episode. kenny wants to burn the monsters.. but ehh, hold on, setting actors on fire, thats costly,.. how about the character just forgets that idea and they just try and trap them in a cage instead? an actor in a cage is cheap....
@@54mensababe I dont think the forest itself is evil 😏
HAAAA that "when keepin' it real goes wrong" reference was perfect
Doesn’t Jade have a conversation with Kenny’s mom at her husband shrine about how they go with you when you go ??? Just a thought ❤
He sure does; I guessed Mrs. Liu would die from the episode title.
Kenny and Jim suddenly find food and crops in a remote part of town right when Tian Cheng was “sacrificed “, that means there is food available as long as the is a steady stream of death which keeps the town nourished so it can also give the people food.
this episode hurt
Too many comments to scroll through so I hope I'm not repeating someone else. Anyway, 2 things:

She doesn't want to say anything to anyone because they'll think she's lost her mind.
It's the same actor from what i could find. maybe hes just short

Tabitha got to the church and I thought she would get food, a shower, and some new clothes. She hasn't eaten in 3 days!
Presumably they fed her in the hospital? Or at least gave her some electrolytes? 🤔🧐
How did the priest know it's her boy? Tabitha only said she lost a child
Tabitha was on floor 13 at the hospital. That is a floor buildings and hospitals skip, they got 12 to 14, floor 13 is known as being evil and has been linked to a lot of tragedies. She is definitely still in Fromland.
Thank you for coming through @omgpancakesyum... we're gonna talk about this on the next live stream. Can you join? th-cam.com/video/Gy4lQienOqg/w-d-xo.html
The hospital symbol/sign is VERY similar to the sighn Jade keeps seeing and is obsessed with
Seeing it was Mrs. Liu in the barn with Boyd has me like that Spider-Man meme where he's screaming "No!"
Has anyone tossed around the idea this may be the remnant of The Garden of Eden, Dilmun, or Idun?
That's an interesting theory! 🤔
I never thought the dead woman haunting Elgin was Fatima.

@@Themovieblog sounds good! Unless you get to watch episodes in advance lol
@@mandolyn uhhhh 😅🤐😏
@Themovieblog, you scamp 😂😂 I can't wait to find out!!
Everytime I saw that goat I chuckled! I might bring it up later int he live stream. I hope you consider subscribing and joining us throughout the season!
Why do we trust Evil Abby that it feeds on hope? It’s lied before, how would killing Kenny’s mom give them hope?
Ethan's personal musician lol
Okay I have a few things
1. The manacle on the house where Jim and Kenny went 😳
2. Every door in Colony House has an upside-down cross on it
3. The puzzle Ethan is doing.. just happens to be a harbor?
kenny out there foreshadowing his life
Honestly I wouldn’t be upset AT ALL if they killed off Jim.
THIS. ALL of THIS.☝🏾
Jim wanted to go alone.. he didn’t ask anybody to help him.. his wife just disappeared if it was your significant other i doubt you would just sit around waiting for her to come back
@@Flawless38brownYeah I don't get the Jim hate either.
Not revealing season 2 but give more mistery... I love this series.
The episode was titled "Shattered"...thanks for the video!!!
If Tabitha makes it back, shes going to rally everyone up to jump out the lighthouse
But... what if it doesn't work 🤣🤣🤣
Dam I miss just missed my cap 🤣🤣😭😭😭 dam do you send to the UK 🤨🙏🏾 great show as always 🎉
No worries, I'll be going live on Monday so we can talk about this episode! Hope to see you there!
It'd be kinda hard to do all that in a mental hospital🤷🤷 which is where they would put you spewing all that.
Tilly does try to give everyone hope which means she could be good
Yes!
No way. She knew Chrissy’s friend finance was a drug addict and purposely gave them drugs.
I wish people wouldn't say "sus" when they mean "suspect". I like good old regular English.
Me too I totally forget and get confused and think it’s like a spelling error or something
I'm so sorry @AlvinRogers4689. My kids got me saying this after playing too many games of Among Us with them 😩🤣
Bride monster's first appearance was S1E1 at Colony House. She was with that monster trying to talk to Julie.
Could be a good entity. Maybe a light and dark entity are in a struggle. One lives off hope and the other off despair. So the wife (dark entity) wanted to kill hope to weaken the good entity.
@@Evergy_fan I think this is a part of it and I will get into this in my next episode breakdown 😏
See you next week?
This was really good. New subscriber here.
Thank you so much for subbing! This is going to be a BIG HELP for us to get more opporutnities throughout the season 🙏🏾😉
I believe the old lady is victors mom
Hmm... has Victor seen Tilly yet? 🧐
what I think is that Tabitha, Victor, Sarah, Jade, Elgen and Ethan are the keys who can help the people to get out of this town and Boyd is the one who will link al the keys and solve the mystery of this town. Tabitha is out of the town so now she has to contact back to other keys in the town and help them get of this town. All the keys should sit together and need to tell each other about the things they know.
Great analysis!
Thank you @postitpixel! I hope to see you Monday so we go even deeper into the episode together 😁
