The symbol Jade is trying to figure out is a star. The symbol aligns with the solstice and equinoxes, which are located by stars. It’s a map to escape the town.
I dont think it is a map, i think that it is their location. As when you look back it, it not only follows viking and pagan times from the 1500s but they arrived in boats, how did they navigate the boats? via the stars.
The symbol does change slightly if you look at the notebook that Christopher left and also the times Jade sees it. But, constellations change orientation in the sky as the seasons change, so it still works with your theory!

Victor is my favorite character so far. I just feel so bad for him because he has lived in this place so long and it is really his only home. I feel like both Victor and Boyd are going to be the most important characters that kind of solve the puzzle about this place.

I think the town is connected as a whole and it’s powered on fear. Boyds hope and last season lack of fear and new discovery triggered the town to fight back. If I remember correctly his wife tried to advise him to quit and give into despair, which makes me think hope is the towns biggest rival.
What a start to season 3🎉 I think someone lives where Jim and Kenny are staying for the night. And they put up the skulls up to scare away anyone who comes along. The end was brutal 😢
I think people would riot if Ethan is killed, so I believe he is safe. I think he is the key to unraveling the mystery of Fromland, too, with the Cromenackle story he knows so well - with Victor’s help, of course.
I do think Tian’s idea of planting crops in different areas is a great idea, but what sux is that it’s going to take forever to grow enough food even if it does work. I know that some of the characters that got hurt have healed quicker than normal so maybe vegetables can grow quicker here? Maybe? Since Jim and Kenny are going to different parts of the forest, I’m thinking they will come across some other types of food source to bring back. I can’t imagine everyone starving and dying on this show. It also makes me so sad that Kenny said that he was going to go with Jim because he didn’t want his kids to lose both of their parents, but he is going to come back to find out that his mom got killed and now he has lost both of his parents 😢.
Here’s a theory you guys can address/make a video on. I think that priest that Tabitha met in the ‘real’ world is in on it. Why was he asking so many questions. In my experience most seasoned religious authorities stop prying into ppl’s issues and take more of a hands off approach, basically share as much as you’re comfortable with as it regards to “confessing”, “repentance”, “atonement” etc etc. I think tabitha got transported to another alternate universe like from land or something, but I don’t think she’s back in the ‘real’ real world yet, I call bs on that. Will be interesting to see if I’m wrong on this theory or not

I also found one of the craziest Easter eggs. OK that Puzzle Ethan was working on is that same habor below Tabitha when she was at that hospital. Ethan was literally putting the pieces together to find her. The reason I'm so sure of this is because I googled "Camden Main Harbor" images and I found a image that almost Identically matched that Puzzle Ethan was working on. It blew my mind. Here's my Theory ... If you have certain items on you when you go thru a Farway Tree, you can go to a specific date or time. For example Boyd took out a note from the Bottle tree. It had 1864 on it. He kept the note on him when he and Sara went through the tree, but Boyd went to the dungeon and Sara went to the church basement. The reason why is because of the Note from the bottle tree. Boyd went back in time to 1864 and seen Martin. The proof he went back in time is the dungeon itself. When he entered he was in a Spanish style structure. When he came out, that structure was now in ruins. Now to Victor. That Lunch box is another special Item. If you take it with you thru a Farway Tree, you go to That address written inside. I also Believe that Bracelet is another special Item related to the Matthew's family.
I think the monsters are fae similar to the watchers. When they were finally able to take over human forms was in the 50s which is why they dress in that clothing. Those were probably the first people to get stuck in fromville.
my theory has to do with elgin’s dream creature. i think it’s a banshee for one, it has a different appearance to the night time monsters, and a very distinct scream. elgin had the dream in the bus where the boy in white gives him the nursery rhyme clue, i feel he has a similar connection to Fromville like Sara. i think this banshee is warning him of something bad coming, he just doesn’t understand it yet. it could even be related to Fatima’s pregnancy, as it’s what jogged his memory about the nursery rhyme.

If you look at the missing posters, you will see the time and months missing mentioned by the characters' track. I believe she is trying to help Elgin, like how the ballerina aided Boyd in what needed to be done. The actor who plays Victor (Scott McCord) is 53; Henry (Victor's dad is 73). Everyone hates Jim. The Slow Walkers (Monsters) seem to have a hive mind, and I also believe that the BIG BAD(s) control them. Yes, Martin said that the Monsters were just the tip of the spear. I like that Tabitha called her mom because it made me feel like she really is back in the real world and not some other level of Fromville. I had questioned if time ran the same in Fromville as the real world, but I saw on a video today from geekademy that the scene with Boyd and father khatri when Boyd is cleaning his wound from when he got shot, father Khatri says something about Boyd getting shot 3 days ago. When Tabitha is in the hospital, they tell her that hikers found her 3 days ago so that makes me feel like time is actually running the same in both worlds.
Watching the video, just wanted to stop and say glad y'all back doing reviews!! I think the Boy In White KNEW that Tabitha would wound up back in Maine. I believe the monsters were ALWAYS smart. But like anything else, there's a hierarchy 2 b followed, and they had to follow orders, too. I love Victor but he's an UNRELIABLE narrator. He's survived who knows how many cycles. Always been protected (by who?). I understand trauma, but by not speaking, he's putting more ppl in danger. Jim is gonna get someone killed. He's emotional and is not thinking logically. I understand wanting to find your spouse, but if u die, then Julie and Ethan would be raising each other. I see Sara is on a redemption ARC. However, I still can't forgive her. Ms. Chen dying? I really like this group setting of discussing the film. One of the most fun to listen to. I wiish I could hear some of your guys' more unjustified thoughts on the show e.g. WHY TF ARE YOU TAKING THEM TO THE BARN!? I don’t think it’s that Victor doesn’t want to share his knowledge, but more that the people just aren’t asking him enough questions, and being patient with his limitations. He has so much trauma, and has suppressed so much, that they need to be really careful in how they speak with him to pull out information.
I think the "Ghosts" (or whatever they are) maintain their mentality from when they die. Father Khatri wanted to guide his flock to salvation so that's what he does as a ghost through Boyd. Abby wanted to kill everyone to end their suffering, so that's why she tried to stop Boyd from saving everyone.
I think those wood stick figure related to the lady in the kimono, they must be former travelers who got stuck in the spell that’s what happens when you don’t stop the music.
If you notice the priest knew their babys gender when she never mentioned that. Not sure if its a writers mistake or what probably not likely everything in this show is strategically planned it seems

This is more of an observation no one I’ve watched has remotely talked about A. The monsters can HEAR them during the day when their normally sleep! Boyd said this place won’t break me they heard . There was fighting about the animals, the monsters let them out?? They heard!

I’ve been thinking about this lately and wondering if they heard it from the electrical lines going down to the tunnels where they sleep, or if someone else is watching and listening and then feeding info to the monsters. Even with Kenny saying that he was going to go with Jim because he didn’t want the kids to lose both of their parents, but the monsters ended up taking away Kenny’s last parent left. It’s like the town is listening to create each person’s personal living nightmare.

Where was Sara coming from? Outside at night. . . Did you notice that when the monster killed the cow it seemed to react afterwards as if it was hurt or dying itself?? Why haven’t they realized that ‘not being afraid’ turn the monsters away? We saw it in the bus when Randall reacted and when Boyd first went outside to kill the first monster. They need to communicate!!! Jeez.. maybe if Kenny’s Mom, Tian, wasn’t ‘afraid’ they wouldn’t have begun to torture her. Spider webs possibly didn’t exist at all in the first place because Boyd sees stuff all the time. Did he mention that he saw a light tower? Did Victor? They die because they don’t share info. Really curious about what happened in the lake and the lady haunting Elgin. Can’t think of a name to call the monsters other than Night Walkers? Haunts? Creepers? Froyos? Gutters? Lol
I think its only been less than a month since tabitha & family arrived. I feel we've been seeing them go day-by-day in fromville. Alot happens in a day there.
My theory for the entire show is: I believe they are in a pocket universe and that some of the residents sent there are from the original blood line froim 1500s. I also believe thispocket universe is a test on humanity, like what jim suggusted just different cause. I believe that this test is to see if all of humanity should be killed, if they deserve to exist. There is good and bad elements that have bene influencing the residents. The thing that really cemented in stone this theory for me is the fact the priest said and i quote " i cannot answer this for you".. this would indicate there is some degree of free will. I also believe this is why the ghost children and the visions are not dirrect. If you take a look at the ghost children and the symbol, they rutial like structure with the vines that extend to make this shape is very ritualistic which brings me to the cabin in the woods. They were testing humanity or preparing sacrifices for survive, if we delve deeping into this the cancer lady. I believe she is victors sister, if you remember victors mother died at the bottle tree and his sister was no where to be found. I believe she got out and she has been spending her life trying to make a way back in, i think the reasons for this is to help the residents and to cure her cancer. If you remember fatma could not get pregnant at all.. it was impossible to the idea of a miracle baby concieved with out any medical cause as to why, ethans leg healing in a matter of days. The old lady also mentioned she would not need her morphine anymore, now this could of just been a ill be too out of it to use it myself or that she really doesnt need it anymore. If you remember when she got off the bus she was excited to be in this town, only once she saw the diner. This is what has led me to the connection between her and this place just like victor. In the cave paintings there was also 2 people, this indicated that these two people can break the enternal lopp that is from. I think ethan threatens this cause which is why the girl was told to kill ethan. if you remember, there were only 2 children depicted in the drawings by victors sister and once again 2 children. Now you maybe thinking no there is only ethan.. except there isnt not anymore. Fatmas baby, also if you look at the pictures victors sister drew, she drew a man and a woman one white one black and this would suggust a a couple kind of like a adam and eve situation. can anyone say boyds son and fatma? i have more to add alot more but this is my current theory based on the evidence i have seen in this show.
I also forgot to mention that the white boy in the bus when he woke up from his slumber the first thing he tried to do was to take the goat which was friends with ethan, before he was stopped he said and i quote " you guys have no idea" this means that the 3 of them can remember everything they were shown in their dream, it would also indicate that they cannot share these details or just dont want to. That goat later is what lured ethan out of the house, this is when the white boy finally decided to do something good and warn the others of the alcoowey arrival, he also risked his own life to let them on the bus and as we know from his personality he really isnt that type, further more the need to break boyds will... why would they suddenly change their motives from eating to punishiment and will breaking. As the girl alcoowey stated before she ripped out that guys tongue.. that she didnt want to be doing this which indicates they are being controlled by some entity. i would also note that each person who has had a vision or speaks to people who are dead or not there have been experiencing medical issues such as bleeding noses and fits. If we go by the biblical stories, god is unable to speak to people.. lets just say this is real for a moment. it stands to reason that the people he or what ever this good enity is trying to speak to these people are having some sort of neurological affect. the tree depictions are from viking times and as we know viking times were heavy on paganism which is filled with rituals. the cancer lady is also there when anyting goes down, as we know from victors sister she drew thing that had yet to happen, so it stands to reason that she remembers everything since she does not have the same mental concerns as victor does. she knew fatmas was pregnant before anyone else and continues to provide motivation to the residents there. as i mentioned i can go on and on about this but it will take me all night lol let me know what you think.

6 months? I feel that's the issue the show has, that it doesn't have space. The end of season 1 to the start of season 3 has been no more than 10 days max. 1st half season 1 maybe a month but actually probably less than a week.

One thing I wonder, so I don’t think we found out what happened to Victor’s sister. She could have died during that big massacre, but she also could have left like Tabitha did. I wonder if Victor gave Tabitha his lunchbox with his address in it in hopes that she could find his sister. I’m really hoping that Tabitha does find someone else that has also left Fromville like Victor’s sister or any other random person. I just can’t imagine that, after all of this time and all of these people getting stuck in Fromville, that only Tabitha has escaped when she’s only been trapped there for such a short time compared to all of these other people that have been there for years.

I like that Tabitha called her mom because it made me feel like she really is back in the real world and not some other level of Fromville. I had questioned if time ran the same in Fromville as the real world, but I saw on a video today from geekademy that the scene with Boyd and father khatri when Boyd is cleaning his wound from when he got shot, father Khatri says something about Boyd getting shot 3 days ago. When Tabitha is in the hospital, they tell her that hikers found her 3 days ago so that makes me feel like time is actually running the same in both worlds.

I believe the monsters were ALWAYS smart. But like anything else, there's a hierarchy 2 b followed, and they had to follow orders, too.
I love Victor but he's an UNRELIABLE narrator. He's survived who knows how many cycles. Always been protected (by who?). I understand trauma, but by not speaking, he's putting more ppl in danger.
Jim is gonna get someone killed. He's emotional and is not thinking logically. I understand wanting to find your spouse, but if u die, then Julie and Ethan would be raising each other.
I see Sara is on a redemption ARC. However, I still can't forgive her.

I don’t think it’s that Victor doesn’t want to share his knowledge, but more that the people just aren’t asking him enough questions, and being patient with his limitations. He has so much trauma, and has suppressed so much, that they need to be really careful in how they speak with him to pull out information.

I think the "Ghosts" (or whatever they are) maintain their mentality from when they die. Father Khatri wanted to guide his flock to salvation so that's what he does as a ghost through Boyd. Abby wanted to kill everyone to end their suffering, so that's why she tried to stop Boyd from saving everyone.
I think those wood stick figure related to the lady in the kimono, they must be former travelers who got stuck in the spell that’s what happens when you don’t stop the music.

This is more of an observation no one I’ve watched has remotely talked about A. The monsters can HEAR them during the day when their normally sleep! Boyd said this place won’t break me they heard . There was fighting about the animals, the monsters let them out?? They heard!

I’ve been thinking about this lately and wondering if they heard it from the electrical lines going down to the tunnels where they sleep, or if someone else is watching and listening and then feeding info to the monsters. Even with Kenny saying that he was going to go with Jim because he didn’t want the kids to lose both of their parents, but the monsters ended up taking away Kenny’s last parent left. It’s like the town is listening to create each person’s personal living nightmare.

Why haven’t they realized that ‘not being afraid’ turn the monsters away? We saw it in the bus when Randall reacted and when Boyd first went outside to kill the first monster. They need to communicate!!! Jeez.. maybe if Kenny’s Mom, Tian, wasn’t ‘afraid’ they wouldn’t have begun to torture her.
Spider webs possibly didn’t exist at all in the first place because Boyd sees stuff all the time. Did he mention that he saw a light tower? Did Victor? They die because they don’t share info.

I think its only been less than a month since tabitha & family arrived. I feel we've been seeing them go day-by-day in fromville. Alot happens in a day there.

My theory for the entire show is: I believe they are in a pocket universe and that some of the residents sent there are from the original blood line froim 1500s. I also believe thispocket universe is a test on humanity, like what jim suggusted just different cause. I believe that this test is to see if all of humanity should be killed, if they deserve to exist. There is good and bad elements that have bene influencing the residents. The thing that really cemented in stone this theory for me is the fact the priest said and i quote " i cannot answer this for you".. this would indicate there is some degree of free will. I also believe this is why the ghost children and the visions are not dirrect. If you take a look at the ghost children and the symbol, they rutial like structure with the vines that extend to make this shape is very ritualistic which brings me to the cabin in the woods. They were testing humanity or preparing sacrifices for survive, if we delve deeping into this the cancer lady. I believe she is victors sister, if you remember victors mother died at the bottle tree and his sister was no where to be found. I believe she got out and she has been spending her life trying to make a way back in, i think the reasons for this is to help the residents and to cure her cancer. If you remember fatma could not get pregnant at all.. it was impossible to the idea of a miracle baby concieved with out any medical cause as to why, ethans leg healing in a matter of days. The old lady also mentioned she would not need her morphine anymore, now this could of just been a ill be too out of it to use it myself or that she really doesnt need it anymore. If you remember when she got off the bus she was excited to be in this town, only once she saw the diner. This is what has led me to the connection between her and this place just like victor. In the cave paintings there was also 2 people, this indicated that these two people can break the enternal lopp that is from. I think ethan threatens this cause which is why the girl was told to kill ethan. if you remember, there were only 2 children depicted in the drawings by victors sister and once again 2 children. Now you maybe thinking no there is only ethan.. except there isnt not anymore. Fatmas baby, also if you look at the pictures victors sister drew, she drew a man and a woman one white one black and this would suggust a a couple kind of like a adam and eve situation. can anyone say boyds son and fatma? i have more to add alot more but this is my current theory based on the evidence i have seen in this show.
I also forgot to mention that the white boy in the bus when he woke up from his slumber the first thing he tried to do was to take the goat which was friends with ethan, before he was stopped he said and i quote " you guys have no idea" this means that the 3 of them can remember everything they were shown in their dream, it would also indicate that they cannot share these details or just dont want to. That goat later is what lured ethan out of the house, this is when the white boy finally decided to do something good and warn the others of the alcoowey arrival, he also risked his own life to let them on the bus and as we know from his personality he really isnt that type, further more the need to break boyds will... why would they suddenly change their motives from eating to punishiment and will breaking. As the girl alcoowey stated before she ripped out that guys tongue.. that she didnt want to be doing this which indicates they are being controlled by some entity. i would also note that each person who has had a vision or speaks to people who are dead or not there have been experiencing medical issues such as bleeding noses and fits. If we go by the biblical stories, god is unable to speak to people.. lets just say this is real for a moment. it stands to reason that the people he or what ever this good enity is trying to speak to these people are having some sort of neurological affect. the tree depictions are from viking times and as we know viking times were heavy on paganism which is filled with rituals. the cancer lady is also there when anyting goes down, as we know from victors sister she drew thing that had yet to happen, so it stands to reason that she remembers everything since she does not have the same mental concerns as victor does. she knew fatmas was pregnant before anyone else and continues to provide motivation to the residents there. as i mentioned i can go on and on about this but it will take me all night lol let me know what you think.

6 months? I feel that's the issue the show has, that it doesn't have space. The end of season 1 to the start of season 3 has been no more than 10 days max. 1st half season 1 maybe a month but actually probably less than a week.

One thing I wonder, so I don’t think we found out what happened to Victor’s sister. She could have died during that big massacre, but she also could have left like Tabitha did. I wonder if Victor gave Tabitha his lunchbox with his address in it in hopes that she could find his sister. I’m really hoping that Tabitha does find someone else that has also left Fromville like Victor’s sister or any other random person. I just can’t imagine that, after all of this time and all of these people getting stuck in Fromville, that only Tabitha has escaped when she’s only been trapped there for such a short time compared to all of these other people that have been there for years.
