No. They are the worst. Because they just move the product around the face and put them inside your pores. Makeup wipes can't clean deep inside the pores. Cleansing oil/balm goes deep inside the pores.

If you don't have sunscreen or makeup on then you can skip the first step and only wash face with facewash. They say like dissolve the like...so when you do double cleansing, oil soluble products are dissolved and removed in 1st step, then water soluble products are dissolved in water in the 2nd step and everything is cleaned properly.
