Thanks JL. Playing some at Harrah’s Cherokee . Will try this because I’m not remembering hands. My current problem is remembering the cars one suits on the board right after the hand 😮 This may help the attention span
It would make sense to include the seat of the position in the notes as well, because position changes but seats stay the same. So it would be sth like "2 CO 800" when the player in seat 2 who is in the CO this hand opens to 800.
Super helpful. Thank you. Two questions: Do you take these notes throughout the hand or all of it after the hand? If during the hand, do you feel like it’s a tell if you are or are not taking notes?
good video mr little. have been binging your videos and they have been super beneficial for me getting back into poker and taking it more seriously this time. cheers!
I didn’t watch the video I just wanted to leave a first time comment. I don’t understand what a capped/uncapped range is. Have read the definition multiple times. I am a winning player. Don’t find it to be necessary terminology. Upon a second glance of Super System the reference to perimeter is my closest analogy.
Preflop: flatting, especially vs 3-bet OOP. Postflop: IP, checking back on wet board. OOP, check calling on wet board. Calling "caps your range" unless your closing the action or vs clear aggression.
@jeffryglenn7024 this is true. Flatting preflop caps your range because if you had a premium hand you would reraise. In position: checking back on wet board. Because if you had value you would bet . Out of position: check calling on wet board caps your range because if you don't raise it eliminates having 2 pair+ value. Calling caps your range because if you had a good hand you would reraise. Limping also caps your range because if you had a good hand you would raise.
What do you think is important to take note of at the poker table? 📓
Position and stack sizes, correct actions, bet-sizing and hands being showdown
I try and identify the worst player at the table, if I can't, then it's probably me.
I take note of who is taking notes 📝
Thanks for help reducing the text length of my note taking system by a few additional characters .🎉

Hi Jonathan!!!! Love your content man
So happy to hear that, thanks Ryan!
Are you doing this for all hands you play? Or just important hands.
Good stuff. I use a similar shorthand for online notes. What app do you like to take notes in?
Recently found a custom keyboard which was helpful. It was called HH keyboard.
Thank you sir .
You're welcome Roberto!
