Does perceived strength of your opponents hand influence your odds when calling with a drawing hand? Let’s say you have a combo draw, but you think it’s likely your opponent has a hand like 2 pair or a set. Can you call wider in these scenarios because your opponent is more less likely to get away from these hands when the draws hit on the river?
@pokercoaching i bet 1000 with a chip stack of 24000 right after break bb calls... flop 10d kd 10s something like that i had 10h 2d I bet 3000 after he checks and he calls. turn is 9d. i had a feeling he had a good over pair or something with a strong diamond, so i shoved with 80% win equity he calls with As Qd and yea a diamond fell on the river. tournament was fun.... did I play it right?
