Biggest disadvantage is that we cannot choose our engineering branch our rank chooses the branch. Even if I really wanted to pursue computer science I am forced to take up other branches such as Civil or electrical because of my low rank. It's not like that abroad you can study whatever you want.
Cuz job prospects are good in every field abroad so folks usually choose what actually interests them unlike here where 90% jobs are in IT sector . Rest of the departments aren't much explored yet in india

So in that way i would get only few months (around a month) to prepare for C1 Prof test...pls could you clarify as to when we need to give this C1 exam...before applying to the universities(which i assumed by my above text) or after receiving acceptance letter(so that i get 3-4 months for preparing for C1..i think i can manage then hopefully), and if ''after'' then how many months after receiving the acceptance letter should i give the exam? See, many of the times they will insist on a studienkolleg and we are talking about a country where only 2% of the total number of courses are in english ( Of course Excluding English Teaching degree )
For masters only 20 % of the courses are in english And you also set some on a misleading path as Employers in germany prefer only German Taught and studying students over english instructed. This applies even for masters
