I know next to nothing about smash but i read the whole thing. I'm sad that he wasn't included in smash as the last character and with how his story ended in Strive i don't think there'll ever be another chance assuming a new smash game is coming later
Yeah people might complain about another anime swordfighter, or fighting game character (shouldn’t really matter because smash is a fighting game...) but his move set, style and playstyle would be so unique it wouldn’t matter
I'm feeling Sol for smash. Weve gotten 1 fgc rep from each round of dlc so far. Strive just came out so ArcSys would want the publicity. Also, I dont know if Namco is publishing Strive but they at least have an existing business relationship with ArcSys which may smooth out dealings.
Probably we already have river city spirits in the game and seeing how much arcsys has been supporting the switch, a whole ass guilty collection(that im pretty sure is exclusive to switch), and how popular guilty gear has gotten to the point where it became a household FG name alongside stuff like KOF. i CAN see sol getting in and he has a pretty decent chance but i don't think it's a guarantee that he will get in

God I could just see his final smash. He starts off with tyrant rave, after the fire blast it goes cinematic. He rips off his headband, rushes them with branding breach, as they're knocked into the air He does a leaping knee Ala napalm death and finishes it with big mob cemetery to catch and chokeslam them in a pillar of flame before turning back to normal. And if it kos an opponent you get the DESTROYED graphic. As for its name, flame of Corruption seems appropriate.

I don't think Smell Of The Game is Sol's theme. I think it's just the games general theme. In the beta, all character themese were listed as "(insert character's name here) theme." But Smell Of The Game was just listed as "Smell Of The Game."
It definitely ain't Sol's theme, but most characters bring some themes from the game they come from when entering Smash Bros. If Sol did enter, then Smell of the Game would be a given if not for the vocals.

I'm feeling Sol for smash. Weve gotten 1 fgc rep from each round of dlc so far. Strive just came out so ArcSys would want the publicity. Also, I dont know if Namco is publishing Strive but they at least have an existing business relationship with ArcSys which may smooth out dealings.

God I could just see his final smash. He starts off with tyrant rave, after the fire blast it goes cinematic. He rips off his headband, rushes them with branding breach, as they're knocked into the air He does a leaping knee Ala napalm death and finishes it with big mob cemetery to catch and chokeslam them in a pillar of flame before turning back to normal. And if it kos an opponent you get the DESTROYED graphic. As for its name, flame of Corruption seems appropriate.

I don't think Smell Of The Game is Sol's theme. I think it's just the games general theme. In the beta, all character themese were listed as "(insert character's name here) theme." But Smell Of The Game was just listed as "Smell Of The Game."
It definitely ain't Sol's theme, but most characters bring some themes from the game they come from when entering Smash Bros. If Sol did enter, then Smell of the Game would be a given if not for the vocals.
