- Matty Cranmer Has Partnered With Mongoose Bikes For 2023! Mongoose is a bike brand that has been in BMX since the beginning and still supports the sport and the riders and makes high quality products! Matty will be riding Mongoose bikes for all the events he will do this year including BMX competitions, Dirt jumper competitions, gravel races and all the other crazy bike inspired ideas that he has!

man o man, havnt been a mongoose fan since before i really got into bmx as a kid, but the history they have and the ability to prevail through the years.. really proud and happy for you matt, you deserve every bit of this partnership. the hard work, dedication, and full commitment to everything 2 wheels.. i really hope this just continues to open more doors for you. if you put all this same effort in to some of these other elevated tricks we all know you can win some of these comps.. shit maybe even big air with morgan lol

My first bmx bike was a MongoosePro when I was like 13. It was very much not a “pro” bike, but man I hooned that thing as much as I could! Great memories!

Congrats Matty! Hello, from Sarasota. I started riding bmx in the 80’s and switched to mountain biking in my 20’s. Love that you’re such a diverse rider and just enjoy biking of all types. First upgrade to the gravel and trail bike should be a dropper seat post asap! Also suggest a 1x drivetrain on the gravel bike! When using titanium frames you have to use a titanium anti seize to prevent fusing. Good luck on this years ventures.

Matty you'll ride the century "100 miles" with ease. I rode my first 100 miler back in 2017 in my late 40s. If i can you can. I like seeing the other bikes in the videos. BMX is great and where my love and passion is,but having ridden on the road for years and some light off road trails I can tell you this. There is a LOT more to cycling than BMX..Enjoy.

So dope, back in my early days of bmx, mongoose was the most affordable bike for a kids parents to by, I got the predator because everyone had mongoose. Once I got a mongoose I put hutch stickers on it because mongoose wasn’t COOL after awhile. Thanks for bringing this back to me.

Congratulations... I'm a little concerned about the quality of bikes that Mongoose is presenting itself here with... components are really low shelf. You'll blow through that Full Suspension Mountainbike quite fast if you ride it properly. Gravel bike with sora and no hydro brakes... I guess it'll do the job but makes mongoose seem like a "i guess it'll do the job" kind of brand
Mongoose is garbage. I dunno why they teamed up with that company. Scott's on hyper too so maybe they're looking into cornering the Walmart bmx scene lol.

I used to have mongoose bmx’s in the 90’s, they weighed a ton
Most of us late 80’s / early 90’s riders started off with cheap box store mongoose box bikes, first jump you hit the single piece cranks bent and you had to switch feet to get them to bend the other way lol
Still have my mongoose sniper from when I was a kid in the 90s ✌️

My first BMX bike was a Mongoose in the very early 2000s granted was a Wal-Mart variety but I was 10 that thing held up for me, eventually I moved to a Haro from an actual bike shop when I got into my mid teens, but I have great memories from that Mongoose

I agree about the 80's. That's my era! Mike Buff....R.L. Osborn ...BMX Action...Like...Rad dude! I raced a Mongoose Proclass aftery Patterson racing bike. I also used Mongoose proclass hoops that I laced up on Suzie(don't know if I spelled this right) hubs. I was to poor for Bullseye or Phil Wood hubs I'm 54 years old and love BMX.....after all these years!

My first BMX was when I was about 8 and it was a mongoose back then I was picked on since it wasn't a haro or town shop BMX I ended up with a haro and sold it I just recently got a 20" BMX mongoose and I'm so stoked no matter the brand the new logo on front looks sick as well I'm really happy Matty got partnership because now it will bring more light to the name and people will respect any bike as another.
I remember when Scotty rode for mongoose if I remember correctly it was very long age you had mongoose stickers on a Hoffman it might have even been a TAJ. If you could correct me I'd appreciate it i also remember Gary Young riding a quadangle flatland frame when he rode for SE because it was small and we were about 15 and Gary is a small guy

Back I'm the 80s 90s as a kid I rode diamondback mongoose supergoose and gts but I thought they were all Walmart now I guess not lol.
