    Kind of interesting because the other day my cub cadet rider pushed out a valve guide and bent a push rod. I decided I was done putting money into it, and just get a new rider. And I was thinking I would get a lot more out of it by parting it out rather than trying to sell a non running rider. Love these videos. And the shout outs never get old! 👍👍👍

      Might be the way to go! I’m always surprised what some parts go for on eBay! Got another one planned on an old John Deere soon! Stay tuned for that! Thanks as always for being a cool fan Flint! 👍👍

    I got...well too many mowers on the side of the road these past few months. I've had them all running, ok all but ones that looked horrible, one real nice FWD honda engine Husky mower, a couple old 3.5 briggs (run like a champ) and another old honda. One tecumseh mower where the deck was bubbly, i put my foot near the wheel, and it cambered like the guys in their Honda civics LOL. Proceeded to step on the other wheels and next thing you know its slammed to the ground. Oh well. Rest of it could be for parts possibly. Rust is the biggest issue where i live.

  • @TecumsehRulesbcserk

    Well well, looks like you and me think similarly. Because this is exactly what I did to the free one except I completely gutted the engine due to how horrible it was running. Only difference is that I run a small time shop and I use these parts for things that come in as long as the owners are okay with it.

    • @GarageGear
      @GarageGear  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Lawn Lover I sell a lot of mower parts every spring. I’m usually at the post office every other day. I would say generally all the parts are gone within 6 months to a year for each mower I rip down depending on their condition and price. I usually price my stuff to sell. I don’t like to be sitting on a mountain of parts lol! How’s your channel going my friend?

I have never sold a part to that small engine repair shop but I was in there once before and found out that they give $25 for a mower. @@GarageGear I'm going on 2 months since the start of my craftsman ticket.... MTD still hasn't reached out. I got a 163cc plastic hunk of junk during the mower shortage. Absolutely garbage. And the blade options are the 3 in 1 blades. They brand lock you and don't even sell different options at the stores they sell out of. I got a 90s super recycler and a 90s Honda. I'll stick to them. Killer machines built like tanks.
