I LOVE how gentle and appreciative he clearly is towards her. The way he took her hand and kissed it at the end actually made me emotional. Such a lovely man. And bloody funny as well. I have seen many bad dancers on this show, all perfectly able bodied, and Chris shows them all up! He really has one of the best technique so far! Dianne really taught him so well.
This could very well be Dianne’s season. Is Chris a Hamza or a Jordan Fisher (DWTS 25 champion), absolutely not but does it matter? No. His story, what he’s able to do, his determination, and the trust he has in Dianne has the potential to be a winning combination! He’s also very likable and extremely funny. A partner like him succeeding plays to the strength of his pro’s ability and how strong and creative they are. And so far, Dianne is killing it! And this is what’s so beautiful about Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars, you don’t have to be the best dancer to win. You just have to have the winning combination. Agree completely. I've never seen it as a dance competition - it's a learning-to-dance and a teaching-to-dance competition and Chris and Dianne are doing an astonishing job at those two things.
It was a good performance & a strong duo, I just hope, as a physically disabled person, that people don’t vote for Chris cos he’s blind! He doesn’t want sympathy, he wants to be Chris, and he always does it with wit, style & beautiful candour…just don’t pity vote, please!

I recently had the experience of dealing with a family estate, it came as a surprise to learn from documents I found my mother had Bronze, Silver , and Gold Ballroom Dancing accreditation. I always knew my mother who was blind, loved to dance, my father not so much. Strictly Come Dancing Premiered after she passed, consequently she never had the pleasure of experiencing the popularity of the show. Watching Chris I am greatly aware that with a strong lead and influential partner, dancing is not only a visual experience but one to be demonstrated by awareness in emotional expression and exhilaration of dancing pleasure.
As much as i am in awe of how bloody good this man is - props to an awesome teacher Dianne!!! No pity or comedy routines but lots of hard work and i hope as much laughter. Chris I hope you are getting a love for dancing as much as the challenge
I am completely gobsmacked by what this couple are bringing to the dancefloor! Dianne is obviously a world class teacher and Chris is so determined and impressive. He has the potential to be a real Ballroom boy and I can see them making it to Blackpool and beyond ❤
That was absolutely beautiful, the rise and fall and the timing were spot on, I’d be incredibly impressed with that from a beginner even without knowing he’s doing it in the dark. I can’t even make it to the loo and back at night with my eyes closed, how on earth is he catching someone and climbing up a bench??
Close you eyes and try and walk backwards, its unbelievably difficult to do. Dianne is such a good teacher and they have a very special bond, also he trusts her to vring the best out of himself.❤❤

Okay the topline isn't strong but this was so detailed for week 2 not only for Chris but anybody doing a routine up to this standard, it was just brilliant. Also, he has never seen anyone dance before, so to dance at such a level of professionalism shows a very strong character and desire to excel, both for himself and for Dianne.
Just how does she train him when he can’t see what she’s doing? She must have such patience and commitment. But, let’s not take it away from Chris either, he has worked so hard to improve the top line as well as getting the footwork right. Bravo to both of them.

Pretty amazing to even just be doing the fundamentals of the dance without any reference, let alone lifts, working with props etc. Chris looked really emotional after, bless him. He should be proud. I do feel a bit for him though, everyone else can watch the other performances and be part of what each other have done; they can congratulate, reassure, give advice and bond as part of that process. He only has the judges comments to go on and other people's descriptions and is a little left out of that loop.
