  • In this video I show you how to remove and reinstall your truck’s bed liner. It’s a good idea to remove your truck’s bed liner and wash away all the dirt and debris that gets underneath, to prevent rust and damage to your truck bed. Thanks for watching!

I do this daily and have been for over 15 years … he got it in and good job (no sarcasm) but over time you will scratch… HERES THE SECRET STAND BEHIND BED AND LIFT THE MIDDLE. It will bow but you’ll see that you can maneuver the sides in without getting in or using a hammer or rubber mallet…. Shouldn’t have to touch the rail caps. YOUR WELCOME. but good job to this guy but ya could have sprained an ankle jumping out! 😅

I need to do this on my dads 1990 F250, can't stand the slippery plastic but spray on liners were not around then.

I did myself based on your video and guess what 2 bolt brokenn inside were too tight for some unreason ... in your video was extremely loose free .. i did bc i expected to find rusted spots which i did quite less than i expected... i will coat with woolwax undercoat...

If you lift up one the bottom middle the sides come out much easier. You are just forcing them in with a bend. Lifting up center is the way to go. Decent job, but not professional.

Thanks for the tip! I didn’t find I had any trouble removing it, but I’ll give it a try the next time!

Humm, it looks like too much pulling. Instead if you would just lift the middle the 2 sides would come down automatically. That would be more geometry used...

You have the same problem as me. The water drains toward the cab instead of the tailgate where the drain holes are located. My question is how do you fix that? How do you drain the plastic bed liner to drain 20 degrees away from the cab and as a result have puddles of water in the bed for days? Do you recommend drilling additional drain holes in the bed liner closest to the cab then fill it with silicone around the holes? HELP

When you drive the water moves towards the back.

@@LC-go1uh Well what about when the truck is sitting? How do you drain it then?

Did you ever get an answer on the bolts to use for the tailgate on the bed liner?

Ford (and all manufacturers) use butter bolts on anything newer than 1980. You're lucky to get one use out of those low carbon garbage fasteners on the body!
