In 2019, both the motorcycles have got a major update, making them look quite fresh. Both these bikes do get a single-channel ABS and FI as standard but come out as very different motorcycles. Proud owner of Gixxer SF from 3 years, it never fails to amaze. The ride is so smooth, even in the higher speed no vibrations is felt.

Exhaust is a Gem on the gixxer. The Bike Feels so nimble to ride but at the same time it is so Rev-friendly as well that it feels as if you are riding some bigger cc bike. There is no power lag even on lower rpms in Traffic and the bike just picks up anytime even if we are on higher gears. Absolutely in Love with this Machine. The amount of Fun you get while riding it is immeasurable. Just Awesome!

For everyone who have chosen are commented about yamaha and suzuki gixer u know wat .after 10,000kms only u will know the originality and strength and durability of ur bikes in terms of best ..like engine performance mileage clutch & gear pickup also at last vibration will increase after 10000kms ,,so at that time u got to know which is best in class..also honda hornet is most of them choice......this msg to bikes vlogger u hav to ask randomly 20gixer ,fz owners about the bikes pros & cons ..then it will give the better understanding about ther own opinion .to choose best bikes..this concepts why no one is interested to do..this wil help most of them who r dilemma to choose which is best ....spending money is not a matter but to get satisfy is very less in terms of bike segment ,,most of them feeling bad after buying ther bikes and also lossing ther huge money ..i hope in future the review will get change and bike vlog will satisfy most of the people to help and save money..

They couldn't even provide Gear Position Indicator in bike. I see so many new FZ bike owners putting aftermarket LED Gear Indicator to bike. Such a shame.
Well Atleast Yamaha is providing Engine Kill Switch unlike Honda!
Paying over a lakh rupees & still not getting basic bike necessities. Even experienced riders gets confused in traffic which gear they are.

You don't need a gear position indicator, shift up and down according to situation. Why do you need to know the gear ??? And who keeps on checking and gear and change the gear.

Sabin Rai exactly , if u ignore the bulky tank then fz looks similar to unicorn , flat seat and low power , low punch , fz is less fun to ride
@aakashchoudhuri me too bro fz v1 was the best version of fz i had one too in matte green color and it was more powerful then v2 and more bulky i always loved it n now i own a fz25 as an upgrade 💌

Fz25 and gixxer 250 are like cycles compared to duke 250. Duke 125 is as fast as the other 2.

Did a test ride of FZ 3.0. Nice for city rides, suspension is soft, handlebar and seating position is good, it is upright.👍

Loved the "Q&A" type comparison. Suzuki have a winner but need to improve after sales.
I am the guy who first gave the test ride review of Gixxer on TH-cam but you are right it's not refined as fz.and my final verdict is go for RTR 4V 160 which is a better performance bike at same price
Completely agree with your review except that FZ V3 looks better than the Gixxer..
The FZ's acceleration to 100 is also same as the Gixxer.. But yes may be bottom n top of Gixxer cud be slightly better while the FZ wud pack a slightly better mid range..
Overall I wud pick the FZV3 for being a perfect practical urban commuter for Indian conditions.. The Gixxer tries to be more while not succeeding in it..

I had Test rides on both these bikes....and felt comfortable on both... But i bought Gixer.... as it is more stable and stylish looks than fz v3.... Now on road everyone noticing my Gixer ..... IT'S REALLY A FUN BIKE.....

Everything's good but yamaha is always perfect in breaking. No bike in that segment can beat yamaha's braking and handling too. Yamaha gives better riding posture and cornering. I'm saying this as a owner of Fzs v3 and my bro has gixxer

Is Mileage figures correct. I thought both bikes would give average mileage of 50. I'm using RTR 200 4V RE 2.0 and I'm getting an average of 38 KMPL. So happy to see this

NS200 Will soon get to 1.4-1.5lac when bs6 comes in , due to abs and fi compulsory so. not really.
NS costs 18-22K more than these bikes on road!

NS is a good bike but here brands value matters with long lasting engine quality and good aftersales service.
Great video, loved the comparison. It feels a bit odd that you don't look at the camera while speaking. It's okay to break the monotony once in a while, but I felt you were looking away from the camera for about half the screen time.
Bro the last gen gixxer has many issues like hard gear shift, engine oil leakage, power loss, how about this
I have a 2015 model, apart from the gearbox, I have none of the issues on it
And it isn't even a hard gear shift issue. It's just false neutral issues

Both will cost over 125000. I wanted a practical bike. Bought achiever for 75000. Changed tyres. 90 & 100mm. Another 4000. Mileage is very good @55. Decent pickup. For someone who wants a premium bike they can go for these bikes if money is not an issue.

@@pravinmurthy in overall 56 kms i started 3 times once while taking delivery of the bike second my brother took a ride then next morning i started it, it was the first time i heard the cranking sound.

Handling, riding comfort, comfortable sitting and suspensions matter a lot in real world. Looks however great you get bored in a year or so.... Learnt this hard way...

If you are looking for performance go for r15 or looking for mileage go for Gixxer I used to own one I used to get about 55 per litter on my daily commute

Apache RTR 160 4v is better in all aspects but if you want big bike look and smoother riding experience in traffic and city as it's handle is slightly upside .
It would have been great if you could talk about after sale Services as well. Suzukis ever diminishing service centres and bad customer handling makes it a worse option to buy. Where as Yamaha has a wider and better service network.

I chose the FZ because there is no logic in choosing a "powerful" bike when the engine itself is small. If you are looking for a fast bike then look for 250, 300, 400 cc bikes because the maximum power you would get from 150-160 cc bike is still less than 20 bhp.
You would compromise on comfort and practicality if you choose a sporty bike in this segment, and won't get the power to compesate the lack of practicality.
You should have included the Apache 160 4v
If they would've, it would beat all again..

RTR 160 4V is the best in the segment and it beats both bikes.
4v has just instant pickup thats the only side it Beats both but in term of handling, breaking, consol,durability, safety it doesn’t even Come near to them
Shihab Zimi Lol the RTR’s chassis is better than both of those bikes.It’s derived from the Racespec GP165 Proto,Comfort.The brakes again,Petal discs are better than normal ones present on both these bikes.Console ? Really ? Lol,The RTR’s console is much better and much more feature loaded than both of these consoles,Durability and safety again,both are pretty evenly matched.TVS is better than Suzuki here.Can still see 30+Year old XL50 still running.Show me a good GS150R or a Zeus ? Very difficult.Yamaha is better than TVS but both offer great build quality and TVS is slightly cheaper on maintenance.
Indian manufacturer is giving us a better bike than these so called Japanese bikes.
