Look how a drummer has the power to change the entire energy of a band. Slipknot have never sounded as cohesive as they do now. Precision, power, everything at the right tempo, the band as a whole is better than ever before (and don't be irrational nostalgic people citing Jordison, who was a creative genius but unstable in several aspects when playing live). Eloy makes all the other guys play better.
Exactly, I have enormous respect for Jordison, and the guy is a creative genius as you mentioned. But Eloy has an insane technical level, and in EVERY show, he plays with everything he has, which brings emotion not only to the band, as everyone can see, but especially to the audience. It's been a long time since I've seen so many live shows of a band, as I've seen with Slipknot since this monster joined the band, and honestly, it's a pleasure to see that.
Eloy vs jay is such an insane difference. Jay rushed every song so bad. Eloy FINALLY plays the songs like joey. Its SO nice to hear the songs with album tempo. It makes everyone play way better too. Corey really seems to love it

I myself have been following Eloy waaaaaaay before this happened so don't even come at me with any bandwagon shit.

Eloy just reinvigorated the band onto a whole new level . With Eloy , the band sounds 10x more tighter and more precise than what the band was going through these last couple of years since Joey’s demise . Never got to enjoy Slipknot this much but thanks to Eloy again for sparking my interest again in Slipknot and made me start following up with the band again . 🙏🏻🔥👊🏻
I took a bus to union station @ 10:00pm the night before. Waited all night and day for this. A few of us saw Sid in front of the tour bus when they pulled up at the arena. Amazing show so glad I made it to this and finally saw Corey's mask with the dreads!
I was in the front row this day When they started playing, the madness began People crowd-diving above our heads, people squeezing each other and singing as loud as they could, headbanging, that energy of being 2 meters away from Corey Taylor and the band Amazing concert, the energy was mad awesome, fucking crazy motherfuc**** in the audience, just perfect! You know that feeling of dizziness you have when you make too much exercise? That's how i felt after the concert, i had to stop the car in the middle of the traffic, open the dor and throw up 🤣🤣🤣 What a day
Never thought I again will like this Band as much as I do now - Eloy brings back what they truly missed - TIGHTNESS - and now everything in the right tempi .... they sounded so rushed/hectic live the last years with Jay...even Corey wasn't able to keep up live... I don't know if that was a Band desicion to play everything faster but going back down a bit helped a universe..... Love how good they sound again

Canada does it different, I’m from Montreal, but I’ve been to shows in Albany and Toronto as well and it’s a different energy in Canada compared to the US. But this show was unlike anything I’ve ever seen, the energy was unmatched!

Thanks for sharing. We were at this concert. The energy was off the charts. The whole crowd was on their feet from start to end for Slipknot. My daughter's first concert and she was in tears, as shelovese Slipknot. I've been to many concerts, but have never felt the synergy from the OG fans and the younger fans as much as I did here.
So.... Eloy is SO tight, that some band members are STILL adjusting (Wait and Bleed DJ scratches for example lol - when you're expecting a massive tempo jerk, but instead, it is actually ON TIME and locked in so your scratches end up waaaaay off time)
