- Hey guys, so another Red Kryptonite/Angry Kara...it's one of my favourite versions to edit of her, but I do love cute Kara too so I can't really decide but yeah.
What's coming up on this channel?
We've got a Kara/Alex humor video in the works that one is going to take awhile so I'm not expecting that one out any time soon.
J'onn, Kara and Alex [Superdad] edit, because I love the family dynamic between these three.
Kara/Lena [Supercorp] edit, haven't decided the song yet! Waiting on some more media to actually get started!
Alex/Maggie [Sanvers] edit, I'm waiting for the next episode to actually make something on them. Hopefully then I'll have enough footage to work with!

Is it wrong that evil Kara or at the very least angry Kara kinda seems awesome? Like I love good Kara but I love when she just unleashes her powers and stands like she owns the place
I totally agree, I adore Kara but I love seeing the darker side of her sometimes. It add so much more dynamic to her character and I think that's awesome!

After having seen every season of Supergirl, I would love to see this video become the trailer for a spin-off series about angry/evil Kara. Still my favorite episode.

This video is so good! She looks so badass and amazing, and honestly, it's not all Red K stuff, you know? She is powerful and she is a leader, and Red K just showed what can happen if she doesn't rein it all in

I really liked this, the theme was fun, the music fit really well, and I feel like it complimented the clips very well. Of course the quotes were great too and really added some oomph to everything. Well done :3

LOVE IT. I really enjoyed getting to see Kara/Supergirl being a bit darker (just for a change, of course not all the time!)so I am glad someone has done a video for it. The music perfectly complemented the mood of the video and the crescendo with the heat vision was amazing. The colouring also helped with the colder/darker feel of the video. All round, just a really powerful (sorry, that really is the best word for it!) video.
****I also watched some of the streaming of you guys editing as I use the same program for my fanvidding. It is interesting seeing the thought process of others when they are editing so thank you for doing those as well!

(By the way I'm not opposed to some constructive criticism, so feel free to butcher me in that respect!) For example, you said you thought the colouring worked well, but I actually regret adding this one.
Oh you watched some of the stream? Hahaha, it's definitely weird seeing how other people edit in Vegas, especially when it's totally different. Like I know a lot of editors who edit on the timeline and not the trimmer, which is such a foreign concept to me haha. How different is my editing technique to yours?
Really? I think the colouring definitely added to the atmosphere of the video. It is amazing how much these things can change the tone of videos and until I got in to editing I didn't realise all these little aspects can have such a big impact. Did you try other colours in a different edit, or even no colouring (even if for your own curiosity)?
Oh yeah, I've got many colourings to use. Some of my own, and some others have made, I agree it can make a big impact. I never really do edits without colourings. It's one way of telling if someone has taken my edits as I don't tag my videos. Plus I've come to think it looks kind of weird without a colour on hahaha.

OrbitFallenAngel No, the DCTV and movie universe are completely separate. So even if they were to make a Supergirl film it'd not be Melissa Benoist. To me TV shows are better for storytelling as there's more content films are so compact and take so long to release its not as beneficial to me as a vidder.

okay. i wasnt sure if maybe you used a different program for colorings vs editing. I loved the video btw. I stopped half way to type that last comment. i couldnt wait the last 80 seconds to ask that question and express how awesome the colorings were. lol.
hroo fitz Aw haha, thank you. Yeah it's just a custom colouring which I added a bit of Saturation Adjust to it and a bit of color corrector secondary. If you have Vegas, that's how you desaturate certain colours.

I like angry Kara idk but i just feel like they don't show most of her character in the show they only show the happy and preppy side of her so I like when they show her other side I hope they do a crossover with all the other shows and they see evil or angry Kara
I agree, I really like that aspect of her character. I like it when she gets moody or angry, it shows you can't be happy and preppy all the time and she has human emotions just like everyone else.
I'm imagining the looks of Barry Oliver and the Legends when they see the bad side of Kara.

@@ItsATwinThingYT im sorry if it sounded like i was making them out like two entirely different persons sjsjdjdd i just meant that s5 kara is so much different than her in earlier seasons. naturally of course, it'd be stupid if she didn't change. but in almost every episode in s5 she get beaten continuously and the showrunners are sort of dumbing her character down in favour of their male characters (lex and william).

ARS16 0:40 is S02E02 and 1:19 is either S01E08 or S01E09. I'll have to double check when I'm on my laptop :)
0:40 is 1x02 actually, Holly pfft!
I just checked, 1:19 is S01E09. @Nikki 0:40 is on a transition so you're right in a way, it depends on what shot you're talking about. It could be S01E02 if it's Kara holding her hand up to the gun, if it's the shot of Kara catching the bullet then it's S02E02.

You do realise that in that situation you couldn't outrun her, you couldn't hide from her unless you somehow could find a lead bunker and she'd be able to hear you.
