Yessir! He is a way good dude! We've been on a couple of rides together and we have more planned. It's kind of hard for me to keep uo with him at times, but the rides so far have been a way good time!
I've been restoring a 95 tw200 for a couple months. Ive only ever ridden one and was in the sand at glamis and dunes. I've wanted one for 15years since, but couldn't find the right deal(I'm a cheapskate).. these things do excellent in the sand. You need to get your rpm's up a little higher, and it'll grab that sand like pavement. Don't be afraid of hitting 8k rpm's on these little Yamaha's, they love it and they're easy to rebuild.
Hey DJ! Thanks for watching and for the comment. They are sweet bikes and this go around at the dunes was so much better than the first. This thing is a great little bike. It does everything and hasn't let me down yet. Good luck with restoring yours! Thanks again.
Dude! You gotta heal up so you can ride again! Yeah we had fun with this one. Didn't fall nearly as much as I did the last time out. Thanks and hopefully you heal up quick!
Great video. I am sooo jealous. This looks soo much fun. Here in Michigan, we expect 18 inches of snow tonight. First time I have seen you with a helmet. No gloves though but who cares. Have fun in the sun.
Thanks Armin! We need some of that snow over here. We didn't have one storm all January. I wear a helmet when the riding is going to be more than just causal cruising around. I had gloves as well but they were making my hands way to hot so I took them off. We need the snow cause that might justify the cold. It's been in the 20's during the day for the last month.
That Truck is AWESOME! As we were all leaving he side hilled it on the dunes and I was mad that I didn't have my camera out. It really is a great truck.
Great video! Imagine having sand dunes in your backyard! I'm seriously considering taking my TW to the real Sahara, seems like it would handle it well, just air down and chug along!
The tires on the bike this go around are the Dunlop K180's and I lowered the pressure to 5 psi. It did really well actually. My brother and brother in law were both running stock tires on their TW's.
You bet! It was a ton of fun. In some places it was hard packed but most of it was soft and loose. The north facing slopes had a bit of frost. Not like last time though. Last time out it was wet from a snow storm.
True! The TW can handle the sand better than I can. This was my second time out there and it was loads better this go around. The bike is capable, the rider is in question.
Good news, I finally got my TW. I just picked it up today! I rode it tonight and some of the annoying traits I’d long forgotten about when I had my ‘87 TW back in ‘88 came right back into my consciousness. My TW sucks in deep, dry sand. It’s fricking terrible. Did lowering your tire pressure down to 5psi make a night and day difference? I suspect my tires are at 22/25 psi front/rear and they feel like basketballs on the trail. Not at all cushy like an ATV tire.
Sweet!! Congratulations! Yeah, lower the pressure to about 5psi. It was way noticeable for me! But, I had to ride the sand a couple of times to get used to it!
Hey Bob, thanks for letting me know! I try to blend it as well as I can with what I have but not all speakers on computers are the same. I apologize it didn't work for you!
You need to change your name its really bothering me. Its just so cringe 😬 Everytime I hear it it makes me feel like I do when I watch Jackson Mahhomes tiktoks 😆 🤣
Time for paddle tires! 😄
Looking for them!
Alright young man ! That was fun .
Thanks David! I am glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for all the great videos !
Great to see RallywithRowley out with you! Really like his channel. I've got a TW and a WR250.

Man, I'm behind a little bit. Sitting home with concusion (long story) so have some time to get caught up. Looks like a good time...we done again!

Ohhhh youuuu kids ! LOL Looked like a lot of fun ! Thanks for sharing ! * Dub'd in N. AZ *
Yeah buddy! Thanks Robert, I appreciate it. Thanks for watching!

Love these action videos too! looking forward to some better weather here in the Midwest. Got a go pro to capture some action next year on the TW’s.
Thanks! We had some fun out there riding. I love having the cameras while were out doing stuff like this. Kinda like a living journal I guess.
The star of that video is the 79 Ford hiding in the background!
That Truck is AWESOME! As we were all leaving he side hilled it on the dunes and I was mad that I didn't have my camera out. It really is a great truck.
@@MOBStreet83 That 79 Ford must be Rowley's truck. It was in his garage in a recent video of his.
@@olddirtbiker5088 Yep, it sure is! He built that himself and it is a gorgeous truck!
This is the most magnificent TW video
Hey Ry7! Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it! This one was a lot of fun to make.
Great video! Imagine having sand dunes in your backyard! I'm seriously considering taking my TW to the real Sahara, seems like it would handle it well, just air down and chug along!
Hey Jan! It is awesome having things that close. Thanks for watching!
Good times!!! TW200 life!!!
Yessir!! Way good times. Make it out this way and we'll head out there.
Tie one of those round plastic snow sleds to the tw and tow someone. Or maybe even a snowboard.
I've done that with my kids in the snow, but it didn't even occur to me to do that on the sand!
Great video! PSI has to be basically nothing to get the best traction on sand?
Yessir!! Found that out for sure! 🤣
What tires did you use in the sand ?
The tires on the bike this go around are the Dunlop K180's and I lowered the pressure to 5 psi. It did really well actually. My brother and brother in law were both running stock tires on their TW's.
Good times! Thanks Matt! Hey, I was just wondering is that sand kind of heavy and hard packed?
You bet! It was a ton of fun. In some places it was hard packed but most of it was soft and loose. The north facing slopes had a bit of frost. Not like last time though. Last time out it was wet from a snow storm.
So I guess the answer is, YES !!!
Unless you happen to be the person who says, "I've fallen and can't get up !!!" (smile)
True! The TW can handle the sand better than I can. This was my second time out there and it was loads better this go around. The bike is capable, the rider is in question.
I guess you can't play in the Sandbox if you don't have attack choppers flying over.
They were just making sure that we were being on our best behavior. 😂
I hope no TW"s were hurt during the filming of this video!
Nah, they handled it great! The riders on the other hand.........

@@MOBStreet83 Thanks! I was really surprised by how squirrelly it was in sand with the fat tires.
Yeah, I felt like a new rider my first time out on the sand. With the psi down it was totally different.
Sure looks better snow.
Yeah but it was freezing cold! We need some snow to justify the cold or it needs to warm up a bit.
@@MOBStreet83 Well in Ohio the snow brings salt. I don’t want salt all over my Tdub. Looking forward to more great stories Matt.
Yeah, that makes sense. We have a ton of salt every time the snow flies as well. I gotta go wash it all off my truck after work.
The pounding music makes this unwatchable
