- You get what you pay for and as we did not pay much I suppose we got what we deserve.
In this first look at the MINI COOPER 1275 1997, we noticed that things are not looking good so far.

Yep, rust is the thing. Glad you got the engine to turn. I never had an injected Mini so can't really give you much advice on that. The engines are pretty tough and there didn't seem to be any nasty noises from yours which is good. I would clean all the earth connections and check that the wiring is generally OK. That's another area of problems right there.
Call it Gremlin? don't ask why I thought of that :)
Don't put too much faith in the "Haynes Book Of Lies"...
We've watched a few of your videos now and are pretty disappointed with your language. Do you have to swear every two minutes? Our grandkids are learning minis with us, and love watching restoration videos with us, but we can't let them watch yours because of this! Sorry. Watch #simpsonsclassics for how it should be done, as Marc is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
If you look back at any of my 200 other videos, I only swear in the last 3. I was trying out a new style of video, and I have gained a lot of extra subscribers.. If you check the ratings of the videos, it clearly states not suitable for children. I think you should maybe check this in the future also. I have highlighted to TH-cam that there is swearing within the video. I have not aimed my content at under 18s. My target audience is 25 to 45. Luckily, there is plenty of content on the mini so you guys won't be short of content, and sorry my videos won't be part of it.
@@rstv84 it doesn't show as unsuitable for under 18s on laptop or mobile?
I think if you are logged in as an adult then it won't show. I have just rewatched the video, and i will agree there is more use if the f word than necessary. I will take these comments on board for all my future content. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
@@rstv84 haha I'm outsider of your target range, we are 52 n 55, gkids are 8, 10 n 12.
I am interested to see how you get on with this though.

@PusscatBoots Peyton thanks and apologies again. I've took the thermostat out now and gonna run it see if it stops over heating. Fingers crossed
