Police incident with shots fired reported in Laureldale Sunday morning

A police incident involving shots being fired was reported Sunday morning in the Borough of Laureldale near Rosedale Ave and Margaret Street. Initial information suggests one person was struck by gunfire and transported to the hospital, condition unknown. An alleyway near the baseball fields of Laureldale Park was closed for several hours as police collected evidence.

So sad to see things like this happening. My grandmother Shipe donated the land for a playground/field to be built near there. Played there many times growing up. Was a lovely area. Hoping our first responders and all stay safe, ty for all that you do
