    Thank you a freaking ton man! Putting seat covers on the backseat and this is exactly what I needed. I feel like I owe you a $20!

      @@AcapellaNutella6 No I actually got a set off of Amazon. They were pricey but I love them and have gotten a lot of compliments.

    Thank you for this video! I am a Chevrolet technician with close to 15 years experience. I have access to Gm service information or SI, and I could make
    No sense of how to get this seat out! Thank you, saved me a lot of dents in my box from throwing tools at it!

    Dropped a screw behind the seat...so had to disassemble the rear end of the truck! 😂 This helped a ton!

    Thanks! Every other video that I’ve watched talked about tripping the seat clips, but didn’t show them nor their location.
    Also, nice tip on the headrest stud removal.

    Thanks for the video. I am trying to look behind the rear seat to see where to run coax cable into the rear cab for radio transceivers. I have heard there are vents in the back that can be used to run the cables through. So far with my GMC Sierra SLT 1500 2021 model, it is not clear crawling under the cab where I will route them. This video helps to show how to remove the rear seat. In the end, my radios will be mounted under the rear seat with remote displays mounted near the console for driver access. Thanks for your video, you helped me to understand what I need to do to go fishing for cable entrance spots. All the best!

    Big f’n thumbs up. I was struggling for my seat lift. every video I watched prior just went straight to the ‘lift’ the seat out. Thanks Tim for the important tip for us!

    I just had hell removing the bottom portion of the seat before watching your video. Now I know it wasn't necessary, and I could kick myself because I hate doing work that's nothing but a waste of time.

    How do you get the headtest sleeves back in? I didn't pay attention how they came out as far as which part was facing forward or back.

  • @stephaniestewart271
    @stephaniestewart271 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you have any issues putting the seat back in? I put seat covers on and now having difficulties getting the seat back on. Seems like the headrest sleeves aren’t lining up. And it’s not clicking back into the three clips on the back wall.

    not to knock what you are doing here, but the tabs can be very easily pucshed with a flat head from the outside between top of seat and bottom ofinsert, just push down on top of seat and the tab is right there to just lighlty puah in.

    Be careful; the 2019 SIlverado has two distinct models; the 1500 does not have the same body/interior as the HD2500/3500.

      @@ChrisHyde yeah I cut out a small section of mdf and lined up holes with the existing mounting bolts. Mounted the amp to the mdf and secured the whole thing with 10mm nuts
