Greddy's Garage - '97 Jeep TJ Door Won't Open

No one can get in from the outside! I save my passengers from climbing in the window or over my lap by fixing my Jeep's broken door handle. Its a 1997 Jeep TJ, with the 4.0L. Doors are the same as the SE 4 cylinder TJ.

So , all the videos I come across the door opens one way or another. My Jeep is stuck in a unlocked but won't swing open and the paneling is preventing me from opening from the inside. Anyone have any ideas

You can take off the interior handle without taking the panel.off. Unbolt the interior handle and see if you can grab the rod that releases the latch.

A more destructive option is to use a soldering iron and cut a square out right near the striker and open unlatch it then replace the interior panel from Ebay or junkyard.
