- Me firing up my 85 cubic inch (1400cc) Stroker Shovelhead Swing Arm Harley Davidson Chopper (18/4/13)
takes a few kicks to get going & a few minutes to warm up but she runs sweet once that's done
1959-1964 Drop-Saddle / Round swing arm Frame with a stroked 1974 HD Shovelhead Motor,
Dyna 2000i electronic ignition, Crane single fire coil, Andrews A2 cam, Hydraulic Lifters,
3" BDL Open Belt Primary, S&S Shorty E Carb, S&S Oil Pump & Lockhart Oil Cooler
Sweet sound of Shovel
how did you end up at 85 ci? 4 5/8" stroke with .060 shaved heads? or 4 1/2" stroke with bored cylinders? 4 5/8 stroke with shaved heads and stock bore setup is what I have planned but i thought it came out to just under 86 ci. I will also have about 9 3/4:1 compression. Have you dyno'ed the motor? if so what hp and torque numbers did you get?
4 1/2 stroke + cylinders bored .020 over... brings it to about 84ci - 85ci there abouts...
Didn't bother having it dyno'ed... she's running sweet & that's good enough for me...
only bike I've dyno'ed is my other bike... '07 twin cam dyna wide glide...
