Happy New Year! Now get some rest haha. I like that this basic point and shoot includes double exposure capability. Your proposed “Polaroid Now +” sounds like the perfect instant camera.
I’ve been debating between this camera and the instax sq6. I already have instax mini neo 90 and instax wide. Sometimes I don’t like how instax film has darker contrasts. The film from Polaroid coming from instax is almost like a breath of fresh air. I think I may go with this model 😀

Happy New Years, man! Quick question. Since the Polaroid film has improved since your review of the OneStep+, do you think you’ll update your rating of it since the low rating was mostly due to poor film quality?
Just bought this camera off Amazon. I like the instant vibe with it. I do have a Canon 90D mind you. The idea of candid moments is the best for this camera. That and sharing and gifting photos is what I want to have with this. Like with a DSLR you have more time and expectations for good pictures. With a polaroid you just are in the moment enjoying it. Like enjoy the moment with your people.
I’ve always loved instant cameras, I have a Fujifilm instax mini 90, polaroid one step 2, and one step 600 vintage. Fujifilm has been doing the double exposure for years now. IMHO I prefer the Fujifilm, the colors are beautiful and detailed photos every time. I guess this is an upgrade for Polaroid but it’s way overdue. Just sucks I’d have to buy a new camera to get better use of my film.
Good review, I'm looking at buying an unused one locally now. I have a vintage SLR from the 80's (two Minnolta's, one works, the other doesn't) and a DSLR (Canon Rebel T3) already. Looking for this to use to just take easy pictures to use to give to friends and family.
Mad jelly at the black frames I love that u worked with it for 9 months to know a camera. I’ll stay with a camera for about 3 months before I’m like eh I’m over this. I just bought the Polaroid Now yesterday and iType film from Walmart. Most photos look underexposed. Hating it. Hoping I learn something from this video and do better.
Hey, Lou! I love your videos and have helped me a lot! At the moment I'm using a Polaroid 635 Supercolor and I was wondering if I would have a more reliable camera with the Polaroid Now! What is your thought on this one? (Not considering the looks and also cheaper film)
Nope *you* don't remove the dark slide. That will expose the film if you were to take it out in daylight. Once you load the film into the camera, it will eject the dark slide. But because the film is safely inside the camera it won't expose the frame. Hope that clarifies

We had one of these given as a gift, we took our first photo, and it came out all grey and dark (even in our living room with lights on, also should it really take so long to develop, I can't remember the original older ones taking so long
Hey Lou. By any chance would you know how the specs of this camera compare to a 16 year-old Polaroid One (the folding grey one that takes 600 film)? I know the Now takes 600 or iType film... but do you think the modern day auto focus is improved? Is the lens on the old one any better? Thanks. Great channel.
With the exposure compensation, do I put the bar to the bottom in darker settings so it makes the photos lighter and raise it when I’m in lighter settings to make them darker? I’m new to it all and some of my photos have been super dark even when it’s light out and the flash is on. Thanks
I haven't tested it myself but if I recall correctly the SX70 tripod mount works on this camera too (I want to say the channel Aim Shoot Develop posted that?? Can't remember though)
I got the Polaroid Now a few weeks ago and have been having a fair bit of focus issues including the camera telling me I was too close to an object when I was 20+ feet away. Wondering if you or anyone else has had this issue or I got a lemon 🤨
I haven't had that experience, sorry about that. There are tons of people in my channel's discord who are polaroid users. If you join up, you can ask them, they might be able to help if they've had the same issue. The only thing that pops into my head is the lighting- if it's too dark, it's possible the camera won't be able to focus properly.

Can you still scan the pictures on your phone? Or you need to have the bluetooth option in order to scan the pictures?

I have this camera and the poloroid 600 film but my photos look yellow tinted for some reason, could that be my camera or the film?
I'm disappointed with the film available these days. The older film in the 90s was sharp, nowadays film is fuzzy
