      Not sure I did one on that process. I have one in the works but ran out of time this past weekend. It should be out by end of the week. Sean

    Talk about power! There’s never too much. Great job!

    I'm just curious if your layout is 100% camand control. How come you didn't just run straight power bricks right to the track? No need for the zw's unless your running conventional or accessories?

      I need the 12 separate voltage circuits so I could vary voltages to accessories as they are all different between all of them and to make them run smoothly. Bricks can't give me the variability I need. The ZW-Ls are much more powerful than a single brick. So one handle runs the entire track, another one the building lighting, one a certain voltage for certain accessories. The LCS system needs 16V, not 18v for the Accessory controller solenoids. So lots of different voltages, all preset so I never need to touch anything.

      @@seanstraindepot I was wondering I was looking at expanding my layout I use 180w bricks for the tracks. and old school zw's for the the accessories and the switches. I was looking at the new zw's and I was just wondering if there worth Wild

    Sean, you stated that the layout has two power districts. How did you separate them?

    Sean, Love that layout my bench work from Mianne is being built and would fit your layout perfectly. Do you or would you share a diagram of that layout I can follow?
    Thanks

    Hi Sean, I have watched your videos over and over. You have the best use of Fastrak that I have ever seen. Museum Quality! Your wiring is very clean. Did you have any books to help guide you thru this task? Also, love your train reviews! Keep up the great work!

    Nice you have been busy but is there a advantage for using fast track vs gargraves or ross

      Dachamp2001 All track systems have advantages & disadvantages to them. The reason I went with Fastrack is the super reliable switches and that they are Command Control requiring no wiring that will be used with the LCS system. The other manufacturers require separate switch machines, wiring, etc and would require separate ASC2 modules for the switches under LCS. Since my layout is only Legacy and all Lionel engines I just decided to go with Fastrack as it is kind of all Plug and Play. I will have to weather it and ballast the side to make it look realistic but that's doable and I have seen guys that have made them look very realistic.

    What the length and width of your layout?

  • @Slipskull131
    @Slipskull131 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Wow, thats a lot of power. My layout is bigger the size of yours and I only use two 180 watt power houses. Your never going to need extra power. Cool layout.

      Slipskull131 HAHA, yeah I don't need all that power but I need the 12 separate voltage circuits so I could vary voltages to accessories as they are all different between all of them and to make them run smoothly. So since I had them I figured what the heck might as well hook them up.
