Okay so I’m coming in with rib pain - I think I have slipped ribs and I’m here to learn how. I’m hypermobile with scoliosis and arthritis and recent severe dip in phosphorus so I think that horrible combo and me sleeping all tucked up in a ball every night can make those ribs bunch up and get stuck on each other. Time for PT. Thanks for explaining flexion to me!
so helpful, thank you! Are you still a SPT or are you a practicing clinician now? I am almost done with my DPT at Columbia University! :) Thanks for the great video!
Thanks 💕💕
I was confused by your rotation slide. With lateral flexion the ribs are coming closer together on the side you are flexing to. So if right lateral rotation is accompanied by right lateral flexion shouldn't the ribs be coming closer together on right side?
thats what im thinking
A maximum stretch of the right intercostals on one would come down to left lateral flexion and right rotation?
