    Thanks Eric. I bought mine on the soft rollout and they are bright. Now I know a better way to install. Also the north star is the best.

    Thanks, Eric! I have had a pair for a while and couldn't figure out the proper way to attach them. Nice touch with the jewelry box!

    Have you guys tried lighting a piece of extra wing material (Ozone Spyder specifically) on fire to see what happens? Honest question here. Does it stay lit or does it go out if no ignition source is available any longer, like artificial Christmas trees? The reason I ask is that, if I have a lipo in my wing, and for whatever reason it is either punctured or ruptured in a way that it ignites would it burn itself out and drop out of the wing by gravity, or would it be the catalyst for a very bad day? I know the odds are extremely small here, I am just wondering if anyone has tried burning a bit of the fabric to see what happens (patch kit)?

    How many CREE watts does each LED use? Any total lumens emitted? This info would be very useful. Thanks.

    Aviator! Strobes look great. Wondering about the hoop lights you have at the end of the video. What product was used there?

    I need a set of those for my shopping cart, when I go to the groceries. Drivers in this state don't know about the blind cane law, and I've nearly been killed several times, because they don't see me, even with half a dozen red strobes all over the cart. Maybe those brighter strobes will get their attention. LOL Thanks for the video.

    Not a huge deal, but anything heavy in the wingtips could prevent cravats from coming out. I'll put mine slightly farther up from the tip.

    On your shop page I do not see how much Lumen this strobes offer.
    Further do you ship to Germany and could you tell me the shipping costs?

    Hello Aviator. I just purchased one of these strobes from you guys and I was wondering how you are mounting them on the cage or on the helmet. Any tips and or pics would be appreciated. Also, is the plastic around the outside supposed to be be left on?

    • @aviator
      @aviator  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Leave the plastic, it helps keep water out :) We use zip ties!

      @@aviator One more question, I plugged it in and the light was red which I'm assuming means it's charging. After only about 20-30 minutes the light turned green which I'm assuming means it's charged. Is this correct? The little instruction paper mention about 2 hours for charging. Also, will leaving it plugged in after it is fully charged damage the battery? I guess that was two questions, lol.

    • @aviator
      @aviator  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      VanyaD leaving it plugged in is fine. Green light means good to go!

    As a pair, are these easy to get synced up with each other, so that they either blink at the same time or alternate left and right?

    • @aviator
      @aviator  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tested that actually. It works fine on it's own! :D

    Hi, what's the run time on them and is there a way to know when they are running low on juice?
    Wouldn't want to be out and them go flat!
    Cheers

    • @aviator
      @aviator  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They shut themselves down so as not to damage the battery :) Our test run time was 6.5 hours

      Not a bad idea! We wanted to keep the weight down to a minimum though. Rare earth magnets are HEAVY.

      Just need to make sure you plug them in first! Small connector from the battery. We can't mail them plugged in as they go dead and can damage themselves!
