I will never forget the first time I heard this remix. I was in a bus riding home after an amazing day trip to New York City. I was listening to this while watching the bright lights of Manhattan at night while driving away. I will always associate this remix specifically with NYC and how amazing it is.
We need Galaxy 3 on switch. Legit so fun and i would like to play it again with new galaxies and new enemies, since nintendo added a bunch of side enemies and powerups to galaxy 1 and 2 why not keep it up :D

I played Super Mario Galaxy 2 as kid, this brings back so many memories, so many moments. I love this song... It brings a tear to my eye... and it's just beautiful. And this isn't even for the sequel... It's just too good.
I had this game on Wii I was devastated when my Wii broke knowing I can't play some of my favorite games like Zelda twilight princess and galaxy but even tho it's limited time I swear I will get galaxy back for switch

TheHugelDude I can not imagine how high your standards must be if you think the Galaxy games weren't great. They were the best Mario games ever, and indisputably had one of the best soundtracks EVER, I am including films into this. The SMG music is out of this world.

That's exactly what I did. After not playing that game in years the nostalgia was too much. Started crying when I heard Good Egg's theme for the first time in years. That game is a legend. It got me back into being obsessed with Mario Galaxy and I find the song in general nostalgic and one of my all time favorite remixes to me. That's exactly what I did. After not playing that game in years the nostalgia was too much. Started crying when I heard Good Egg's theme for the first time in years. That game is a legend. Easily my favorite game of all time, followed close by the sequel. A truly timeless game, I hope my wii never breaks... thanks qumu, your cover was fantastic.

This was my first Mario Galaxy remix I ever listened to and first Qumu remix I've listened to. It got me back into being obsessed with Mario Galaxy and I find the song in general nostalgic and one of my all time favorite remixes to me.
