Yay, JessaKae’s advert made it! They’re all dancers, and the moms were dancing with their daughters. It was an advert for their spring release - and yes, their clothes go from size XXS - 6X, and 0M - 14Y. They have matching parent/child lines, too. They routinely model every dress on every size, and have so far been a truly lovely clothing brand to follow (and eventually plan on buying from, when they make something that captures my goth heart). They have a new “under the sea” collection for anyone looking for amazing beachy, mermaid-y dresses.

As someone that works in a warehouse, I can tell you that whatever concrete they use for the floors is really good for pirouettes! Even while wearing steel toe boots I can turn really well lol!
@@TheIntimateAvenger There aren't any pallets on the floor in the warehouse I work in, and the floors are cleaned daily, so no, that's not it. Poured concrete is very smooth and sealed to prevent erosion from machinery and people walking on it.

My dance teacher would only put in orders for new shoes once a year, generally, so our pointe shoes had to last the whole 9 months (the school year). I ended up having to wear a pair for 2 years because my dog chewed up my new pair the day after i got them. I honestly had no idea that most dancers get new shoes so often.
When she asked who wears pair of pointe shoes for 8 months my first thought was poor people.🤣Everything has to last 3 times as long. I stapled a tap shoe briefly.

My nephew is 5 and does beginners ballet. He had his first performance over the summer and he was so mesmerized by the set deign that he had his back to the audience almost the whole routine because he couldn't stop staring at it. it was hilarious.

The way that one dancer in the NYFW video made the fabric move-- gorgeous! If that doesn't sell a garment, I don't know what will!

I just got pointe shoes and people who don’t have them and wandering if it hurts,it only hurts when your up for a while and when your putting lots a pressure your foot😂!Love these videos there so awesome and funny,you should keep doing these videos in my opinion I wish I could meet you!
I used to run a rock climbing gym with a pro-shop. I would teach climbing as well as fit climbing shoes to clients. I used to explain that climbing shoes were like pointe shoes, but you climb in them. They are meant to give stability and focus energy into the toe box for precision climbing and extra power with minimal strain to the foot. Also, the climber no-handing it was a favorite balance and core exercise my friends and I would do - climbing without ropes is called bouldering, and you don't climb as high. Can't say any of us were ever as good as that lad, though.

OMG I've never used pointe shoes, i love ballet but could never take classes, but I do climbing and I can tell you, YOU ARE RIGHT!, climbing shoes are tight as h... they make your fingers go al together and love eachother in such a small and poity point, but you can feel everything going on with your toes and it's amazing to have that knowledge when your balance depends on a single little tiny mini rock jeje
