That speech was fantastic by the Sheikh about womens rights in Islam and also their responsibilities, it's very true. To acquire rights, one must understand their limits and responsibilities and not just for women, but for men too.

I like this. I'm not religious but it was at least informative to help distinguish between muslim/islamic and how it's being interpreted. My question would be on how the pressure from families effects women's decisions, especially in the west, concerning marrying who they want, wearing what they want (not wearing a hijab etc.), and living as the other girls do while still wanting to respect the religion.
There is no pressure from families, there is NO COMPULSION in the way of life (Islam), some families (naturally) having the best interest of their children, they would react to such incidents with love and care, explaining to their children why immorality should (must) not be entertained or practiced by their loved ones. because parents know better, right...??
Now, why do you westerners think a Naked Woman is more civilized and is free than a modestly dressed woman..??
can you look back to your history (western culture) where women used to dress very modest...?
today western men dress modest, but their women MUST show their breasts (boops) pushed out and have Yoga pants (transparent) revealing clothing just for men to satisfy their lusts????
why don't you men then put on THONGS, G-STRINGS, and Yoga pants, go to office with it???

You know, I may not be very well versed in regards to the faith of Islam, but, I am a historian and once Islam took hold in the middle east and what was also the Persian empire, but in regards to islam, women have there place and that place is the property of their husband or their father until he marries her off. If men and women are equal in the muslim outlook where is their full body covering for the men? This man like many religious people disregards his reasoning abilities entirely.
Actually, it's none Muslims who enslave their women by forcing them to take on their last names after marriage.
I love his messages but I dislike that he always keeps the lectures negative from beginning to end. I feel depressed after watching all of his videos rather than uplifted and motivated. I

وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا تُقْسِطُوا فِي الْيَتَامَىٰ فَانْكِحُوا مَا طَابَ لَكُمْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۖ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا فَوَاحِدَةً أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَلَّا تَعُولُوا

And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].
