- Islam promotes and teaches peace while Terrorism suggests to do the exact opposite of that. Then why is the word Terrorist always coupled with the word Islamic? A complete oxymoron! Unfortunately today people have been misled to think that Islam is a religion of Terror and oppression. In this lecture Shaykh Khalid Yasin reveals through historical accounts who in essence are the genuine terrorists and that Islam in is innocent of such claims.

To those non muslims...reading Quran and Hadith doesn't mean you know everything about Islam. Even I as a muslim needs Scholars and Ulama to interpret every sentence of Holy Quran. You want to know more about Islam as peace religion? Go ask the Islamic scholars and experts!

I am not a Muslim, yet I’m drawn to brother Khalid’s lectures for whatever reason. But I wish they were more “beginner friendly,” if we may call it that. I have no idea what some of these terms in Arabic mean, and thus I feel as though I’m missing a chunk of the lecture

Yasin is confusing terrorism with imperialistic genocide. In order to establish colonies in new regions, invading nations would kill off the native inhabitants. The most notable definitional difference between terrorism and imperial genocide is that the imperialists weren't trying to instill fear, instead, they were killing off the natives in order to create their own colonies. The purpose there was not to 'instill fear and trauma'.
