  • When I ordered the original set of Sugar Cayne Anniversary frames, I also orders some in Raw. The original plan was to collaborate with some artist and illustrators to make custom designs on the raw frames. Then Covd-19 happened, everything shut down, social distancing and that was that. So I decided to customize the frame designs myself.

When I first thought about doing these custom frames I wanted to make them all unique in their own way. So I started playing around with ideas. I really wanted to make a classy looking 20″ so I used a script font and teal colorway for all the lettering. For the top tube I made a custom checkered pattern which I think came out really cool. The decals are die cut and transferred onto the frame. This process wasn’t so easy because if I messed up at any point I would’ve had to start all over again. And I did….a few time lol.
    THE FRAME:
The frame is mostly raw but I wanted to do something a little different so I hand polished the top of the top tube. I also hand polished three quarters of the seat stays. The hand polishing process is a tedious one. I had to do it over a few times because I messed up on the checker decal lol. But once it was all finished it looks amazing.
This is a One Of One design meaning this is the only frame that I’m doing with decals like this in this color.
