25:50 - Agreed, Steven! The Husbands of River Song is my comfort episode all year round, and that scene in particular is so well written and well acted 💙💙
There is a possibility that they wanted to be able to express their opinions about the episodes without worrying if they would be approved for being on the podcast. I really love the podcast, but i also acknowledge that it probably constricts the freedom to voice what they think about the episode entirely. My issue with the hosts during season 1 wasn't that they had no charisma, they were likable and charming, but they only had a passing cultural knowledge of Doctor Who, and it was less them themselves, and more the fact that the BBC thought that was what we wanted. The people who watch this channel are dorks (Myself included) who have invested bucket loads of time into this show, so we like to be rewarded for that, and having hosts who are as enthused as us is a great start.

I always love doctor who be my 20th anniversary since I first watched it in March and it does help me a lot when I feel down and I lot of depression it also helps me with that can't wait for joy of the world and season2/ series 15
It's such an incredible comfort show. I watch it when I'm happy, sad or just need to believe in good for goods sake. What a gift to have something that speaks to us so deeply. I hope you enjoy the show 💖💖
21:24 Steven pushes the idea thats well established, but sometimes needs reinforcing to folks, that 12 and Clara were indeed romantic partners!!! 12Clara crumbs in 2024, we'll take it.
Absolutely living for how Krystina says "Steven." when talking about the pub quiz, like he's a pre-teen who got a particularly easy bit of maths homework wrong.
I suspect it’s due to him being a bit of a controversial person at the moment due to certain elements online trying to suggest he is racist. I know it’s completely ridiculous but people don’t need a excuse anymore to try to cancel someone who has done so much good for a bad decision over forty years ago. The problem is that if Disney starts getting involved because they worry about bad publicity then they will pull out of the deal they have.
@Kowawadaddy It's still an incorrect answer in a quiz. I mean, if we're going *there*, then there's a lot of references to Michael Gambon and Harry Potter. Regardless answering a quiz question doesn't imply support. If I'm asked who the leader of North Korea is it doesn't mean I support him. Facts are facts.
@Kowawadaddy I hear you, it wasn't a silly thought, and you might be right, but if so, then my annoyance is at the podcast creators, not you. Don't be discouraged from interacting, that wasn't my intent at all.
Doctor who died when Peter Capaldi regenerated... Then was reborn as Jodie Whitaker bringing new energy to the show. It became more familiar with the return of david tennant and is going strong with Ncuti. Fly high Doctor who great tv show
See what you did there 😉- With you on this too! Lots of positives throughout Jodie to now, been enjoying a lot of it as well, enjoy the Christmas episode!
I personally found them frustrating especially when we had just had three Doctor Who experts that between them were able to cover the entire history of the show. However I don’t completely blame them because they were given very little information to work with and tried their best with what they had and they are both good presenters just not in this case. Obviously we have Tyrell back which is great I don’t know yet how I feel about his cohost but she is a vast improvement and it feels much more like she is just chatting based on knowledge rather than reading a iPad. I do have to say though that like everything it’s all down to what you like and I respect your opinion about what you enjoy.

@@HSzL4rB I agree he's the best writer the show's had, but let's be honest, if he did come back, Doctor Who fans would just complain again and say things like "Steven Moffat has killed Doctor Who!" Doctor Who fans are never happy with the current showrunner.

That 11 years old prepubescent black boy in me, who had has heterosexuality come to bloom from Lisa Bonet and Time Lord Romana is awaiting a Doctor Who that totally is into women, so I can get out of mind David Tennant s Doctor permitted to lingeringly lock lips with the likes of Martha, because he's the right color.

YESSSS TYRELL’S BACK
🥳✌🏿
TYRELL! I am so happy you are back and Krystina is just wonderful. What an excellent interview!
I love Steven. Some of the best episodes and lines written for Doctor Who, were all written by him. Can't wait for the Christmas Special!
Yes this is the vibes Doctor Who brings me.
EXCELLENT hosts! Such a great podcast. Thank you all for your time and effort.
I'm delighted that you enjoyed it!

I was👀👀👀👀🤣🤣🤣
Look how long this podcast has came 🎉❤
Thanks to Tyrell, Krystina and Steven! ⏳
I like this version of the podcast please don't change back with season two xD
So the producers clearly listened to everyone's dislike of the previous hosts. Still don't know why they've not asked Juno and Christel back.
maybe they dont want to? or something you never know
@@topmandog1 I mean....there's a possibility Juno is one of the writers for the new season, so there is that.
@rowanc88 we can hope

I love you guys

Much better podcast hosts then the other group.
great hosts and great podcast episode (:

I have loved Doctor Who since the mid-seventies. Looking forward to another adventure with 15 😊

That this comment was rage bait for a second
@h0lly_blue To me it doesn't matter what face the Doctor has. They are all the Doctor to me. And people who say otherwise are ignorant.

oh youuu *shakes fist*
A question that really bugged me was where did fish fingers and custard come from lol
You have to wonder if he sat down one day as a child and was just like "I wonder" and started dipping fish fingers in custard. It's a valid concern🤣
I liked the last hosts. These two are good too. Can’t wait until the Christmas Episode coming up fast
@MoonDragon1 you what? The last 2 hosts were awful, they just picked 2 random tik tok people

Huh?
Christ this commentary is exhausting
the podcast is not very good. i never got into it
Moffat please retire with grace and let someone new, younger and ambitious come in as a writer.
You do realize a new younger writer would've never written this episode right?
That's really up to the showrunner, not Moffat.
